Its composed of two hotels: the Iberostar Selection Albufera Park, specially designed for family holidays, with a renovated children's pool, reinvented Star Camp facilities and spacious and comfortable rooms that allow for privacy and rest, and the Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa, suited for all types of guests. from active couples to those looking to relax and unwind with their loved ones, in new and elegant rooms inspired by the sea and the privileged natural surroundings.

Playa de Muro Iberostar Selection Albufera resort has its own beach access to Playa de Muro, awarded in 2022 as the best beach in Spain and the third-best in Europe according to Tripadvisor users. They highlight the warm, turquoise and clear as crystal sea, together with the calm and shallow waters that confer, according to this valoration, the perfect environment for children and sea lovers. More than 5 kilometers long, Playa de Muro inspires long morning beach walks, unforgettable sunsets, relaxing, sunbathing and water sports.

Albufera Natural Park The Albufera Natural Park in Majorca is the largest and most important wetland habitat in the balearic islands. An ancient lagoon, separated from the seaside by a small ridge of dunes, that is home to over 3.000 species of flora and fauna. The most notable fauna are the birds, with more than 300 species, both resident and migratory, which makes the Albufera a true paradise for its observation. A natural area to discover with your family or partner any time of the year, ideal to explore by foot or in bike, just a stone’s throw away from the resort. Furthermore, we plan to dedicate the next Catedra del Mar to the Albufera Natural Park in order to initiate further studies focussing concrete challenges of the wetland, that might require our attention.

All rooms have been fully refurbished with decoration and materials inspired by the textures, colours and wildlife of the surrounding Albufera Natural Park, a bird sanctuary, and the Mediterranean sea. Sustainability has been at the forefront of this renovation, using wood and wallpaper made from sustainable materials.

Greek cuisine KYKNOS means Swan in Greek and is one of the most beautiful birds that visit the Albufera de Mallorca Natural Park. This speciality restaurant offers delicious dishes that bring together the colours, aromas and flavours of Greece, and is highly aligned with Iberostar’s Honest Food concept of fresh and healthy meals with locally sourced produce and ingredients and delicious mediterranean flavours.

Mexican taqueria Named after a common prickly pear plant common in Majorca and one of the most traditional ingredients in Mexican gastronomy, NOPAL brings the concept of a traditional taco house to Majorca. The tasty cuisine offering has been created under the guidance of our experienced chefs in Mexic and will be accompanied with vibrant mexican music.

Spanish tapas Martinete is a small nightbird similar to a heron with grey feathers, and red eyes that inspire the logo’s colour. Its natural habitat are the wetlands of the nearby Albufera Natural Park. This is the restaurant that guests would love to have in their hometown, with a selection of authentic tapas and the most appreciated Spanish dishes, prepared with locally-sourced ingredients.

Ice cream parlour This take-away ice cream parlour will delight children and grown-ups with popsicles, ice cream and crepes to enjoy in the resort, the pool or at the beach.
