Editorial Note Dear readers, With the start of an extraordinary academic year goes an extraordinary IBCoMagazine edition. The team is very happy to connect with you again through the magazine, while we are all largely separated from one another because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic that is unfortunately still affecting each and every one of us along its way. Obviously, this has had its implication for the magazine, as team members are operating from different countries and all communication is happening virtually. However, our Renaissance issue is up and running and I cannot be prouder of the efforts made, work done, and results delivered by the new 2020-2021 team. ‘Renaissance’ may take on a collection of meanings depending on the context it is used in, such as rebirth, revival, or renewal.

Every member of the IBCoMagazine team has reserved some time to reflect and see what it means to them, taking the current circumstances into consideration. An interesting and diverse body of articles, illustrations, blogs, designs, and social media content has emerged as a result, and we cannot wait for you to dive into this theme with us and perhaps discover what Renaissance is to you.
