Soda_Jerk, winners of IPMIC3
This month, we are pleased to announce the winner of the third Ian Potter Moving Image Commission (IPMIC3). In contrast to previous IPMIC winners, Soda_Jerk is a two-person collective, and is widely known for their collaborative work with artists from other disciplines. We congratulate Soda_Jerk on winning the commission and now keenly anticipate their IPMIC3 commission, Terror Nullius, which will premiere at ACMI in early 2018. I particularly wish to thank the Judging panel for IPMIC3 chaired by Katrina Sedgwick, Director and CEO of ACMI. The Panel have offered their considerable time and expertise to carefully determine a shortlist from the many applications received and then finally select the IPMIC3 winner. I also want to acknowledge Louise Arkles and Mairead Phillips, who diligently coordinate and manage the application process here at the Cultural Trust. Lastly, I hope all our Cultural Trust grantees, past and present, have had a successful year, one of opportunity to further develop their artistry. We are very pleased to be able to share
