Detroit Magnet Highschool

The Detroit Magnet High-school project tested students on our ability to a working building in an urban setting, The project was given in second year introducing students to a extensive program as-well as program development.

My design for the magnet highschool focused on creating a light well to maximize daylight for the occupants of the school. The other focus was using materiality to frame key areas as seen in the rendering.

Both section cuts are used to identify the light well and how it travels from fl oor to fl oor through a series of cutouts in the fl oor plates
