1Andtheywalkedinthemidstofthefire, praisingGod,andblessingtheLord.
2ThenAzariasstoodup,andprayedonthis manner;andopeninghismouthinthemidst ofthefiresaid,
3Blessedartthou,OLordGodofourfathers: thynameisworthytobepraisedandglorified forevermore:
4Forthouartrighteousinallthethingsthat thouhastdonetous:yea,trueareallthy works,thywaysareright,andallthy judgmentstruth.
5Inallthethingsthatthouhastbroughtupon us,andupontheholycityofourfathers,even Jerusalem,thouhastexecutedtruejudgment: foraccordingtotruthandjudgmentdidstthou bringallthesethingsuponusbecauseofour sins.
6Forwehavesinnedandcommittediniquity, departingfromthee.
7Inallthingshavewetrespassed,andnot obeyedthycommandments,norkeptthem, neitherdoneasthouhastcommandedus,that itmightgowellwithus.
8Whereforeallthatthouhastbroughtupon us,andeverythingthatthouhastdonetous, thouhastdoneintruejudgment.
9Andthoudidstdeliverusintothehandsof lawlessenemies,mosthatefulforsakersof God,andtoanunjustking,andthemost wickedinalltheworld
10Andnowwecannotopenourmouths,we arebecomeashameandreproachtothy servants;andtothemthatworshipthee.
11Yetdeliverusnotupwholly,forthy name'ssake,neitherdisannulthouthy covenant:
12Andcausenotthymercytodepartfromus, forthybelovedAbraham'ssake,forthy servantIssac'ssake,andforthyholyIsrael's sake;
13Towhomthouhastspokenandpromised, thatthouwouldestmultiplytheirseedasthe starsofheaven,andasthesandthatlieth upontheseashore.
14Forwe,OLord,arebecomelessthanany nation,andbekeptunderthisdayinallthe worldbecauseofoursins.
15Neitheristhereatthistimeprince,or prophet,orleader,orburntoffering,or sacrifice,oroblation,orincense,orplaceto sacrificebeforethee,andtofindmercy.
16Neverthelessinacontriteheartandan humblespiritletusbeaccepted.
17Likeasintheburntofferingsoframsand bullocks,andlikeasintenthousandsoffat lambs:soletoursacrificebeinthysightthis day,andgrantthatwemaywhollygoafter thee:fortheyshallnotbeconfoundedthatput theirtrustinthee
18Andnowwefollowtheewithallourheart, wefearthee,andseekthyface
19Putusnottoshame:butdealwithusafter thylovingkindness,andaccordingtothe multitudeofthymercies.
20Deliverusalsoaccordingtothy marvellousworks,andgiveglorytothyname, OLord:andletallthemthatdothyservants hurtbeashamed;
21Andletthembeconfoundedinalltheir powerandmight,andlettheirstrengthbe broken;
22AndletthemknowthatthouartGod,the onlyGod,andgloriousoverthewholeworld.
23Andtheking'sservants,thatputthemin, ceasednottomaketheovenhotwithrosin, pitch,tow,andsmallwood;
24Sothattheflamestreamedforthabovethe furnacefortyandninecubits.
25Anditpassedthrough,andburnedthose Chaldeansitfoundaboutthefurnace.
26ButtheangeloftheLordcamedowninto theoventogetherwithAzariasandhisfellows, andsmotetheflameofthefireoutoftheoven;
27Andmadethemidstofthefurnaceasit hadbeenamoistwhistlingwind,sothatthe firetouchedthemnotatall,neitherhurtnor troubledthem.
28Thenthethree,asoutofonemouth, praised,glorified,andblessed,Godinthe furnace,saying,
29Blessedartthou,OLordGodofour fathers:andtobepraisedandexaltedabove allforever
30Andblessedisthygloriousandholyname: andtobepraisedandexaltedaboveallfor ever.
31Blessedartthouinthetempleofthineholy glory:andtobepraisedandglorifiedabove allforever.
32Blessedartthouthatbeholdestthedepths, andsittestuponthecherubims:andtobe praisedandexaltedaboveallforever.
33Blessedartthouonthegloriousthroneof thykingdom:andtobepraisedandglorified aboveallforever.
34Blessedartthouinthefirmamentof heaven:andabovealltobepraisedand glorifiedforever
