Amsterdam Marketing The Amsterdam Metropolitan Club (Metropool Amsterdam Club) is the network organisation of Amsterdam Marketing, chaired by the Mayor of Amsterdam, Eberhard van der Laan. Amsterdam Marketing is dedicated to strongly and discernibly branding the City of Amsterdam under the shared motto of I amsterdam.

Our goal is to promote the region as one of Europe’s five most attractive metropolitan areas for residents, visitors, businesses and influential figures: as a hub of trade, people and information, with an excellent synergy of public authorities, leading international businesses, academic institutes and cultural organisations. As our core business, city marketing is an essential step in strengthening the region’s economic position.

The partnership By joining the network you can make a decisive and direct contribution to the growth and success of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area in both the short and long term. Membership also provides opportunities for your own business development by collaborating in (city) marketing activities and campaigns, as well as pilots and projects that support the region’s economic development.

As a partner in the most influential business community in Amsterdam, major benefits include: •

International networking missions to inspiring cities, headed by the mayor.

These trips not only serve as models of city marketing, they provide unique opportunities to network (in the public, private, cultural and educational spheres) and launch new projects;

• Marketing advice and consultancy solutions with the option to devise custom proposals for the partner; • Four networking events per year organised around a unique event (e.g. a milestone or opening) in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area; • Exclusive guided tours under the guidance of the directors/curators from various cultural institutions in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, for example, following the opening of a new exhibition or building; • Welcome packages for all international expats within your organisation (in cooperation with the Expatcenter). * Membership fee is €20,000 a year.
