Welcome to the third issue of the IAFOR Journal of the Social Sciences. Our journal encourages critical ideas and theories from different perspectives about society and aims to contribute to an open avenue for new theoretical developments in this broad field of the Social Sciences by providing a space for international dialogue and critical approaches. This third issue features papers on the Transnational Legal Process, transnational organised crime in Indonesia, mental health of elementary school personnel in Thailand, teaching and learning from the perspective of an environmental regulator, school dropout rates for children with learning disabilities in India, and the tribulations and successes of the Chinese-Filipino in Lanao del Norte in the Philippines.
