Metamorphosis Women’s Conference to transform lives with messages of hope Thousands expected to attend annual event featuring award-winning gospel singer Tamela Mann

OUSTON – More than 2,000 women from Houston and across the country will be challenged to redefine their lives at the 13th annual Metamorphosis Women’s Conference, a four-day event featuring empowerment seminars and gospel music performances. The conference, scheduled for March 12-15 at The Fountain of Praise in Houston, blends ministry, song and personal enrichment through a remarkable lineup of nationally acclaimed speakers, ministers and performers.

Grammy-nominated and Stellar Gospel Music Award-winning singer Tamela Mann, also known for her acting roles in numerous Tyler

Perry films and plays, will help to kick off the event with a special performance on March 12. The event will also include performances by teen gospel singer Jekalyn Carr on March 13 and Houston’s own gospel recording artist Kathy Taylor on March 14. Renowned ministers Dr. Jazz Sculark, and Pastor Sheryl Brady, of Bishop T.D. Jakes’ The Potter’s House North, will also share motivational messages of hope and faith at the event.

“Metamorphosis is much more than an annual conference because throughout the year we host events that really help women transform their lives,” said the event’s executive director, Mia Wright.

“Transformation is what Metamorphosis is all about. We want to help

women reach their full potential and purpose in life. We inspire these women by teaching them that God has something greater in store for their future, and by providing practical insights to empower them to make lasting positive changes.”

For over a decade, the annual conference has grew to be one of the largest and most successful mega women’s conferences in the U.S., bringing thousands of women together from across the country and nation for fellowship and empowerment that helps jumpstart their journey to a more positive and fulfilling life. Women from as far as Brazil, Columbia and South Africa have registered to attend this year’s conference.
