Stay safe at home and learn! What better way than joining an online class? Get the most out of your lessons by following these tips.

Before your class get ready! Connect or charge your tablet / laptop.  Put your worksheets, notebooks and any other stationery on your desk. Have a toilet break.  Bring a glass or bottle of water to yourdesk.  Check where the mute button is. Move the camera so that your head showsin the middle of the screen.  Sit somewhere quiet and bright. Sit in front of a nice wall or use a virtualbackground. You can nd some here. Use headphones or earphones.

During your class - it’s lesson time!

•Join the class by yourself. •Pay attention in class. •Make notes on your worksheets to help you remember. • Tell the teacher when you cannot hear. For example: ‘I didn’t hear you properly. Can you say that again?’ •Mute yourself if there are noises around you. •Be quiet and listen to your classmates when they talk. •Wait for your turn to speak. • Ask questions politely. • Ask the teacher before you move away from the screen. •Think and answer questions on your own.

After your class - let’s keep on learning!

•To relax after class, stand up, stretch and look away from the screen. •Share what you have learnt with your family. •Do your homework and upload it for the teacher to check. •Write down any questions and ask your teacher during the next lesson.
