Chapter 1
Meg, Nick and Jack were walking along the harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui.

‘Look!‛ said Jack. ‘People are fishing here.‛ ‘Yuck, the water looks very dirty,‛ said Meg. ‘Why are they fishing? There aren‛t any fish in there.‛ ‘Yes, there are!‛ said Jack. ‘My dad took me fishing once, and we spotted some fantastic fish. We even saw some special ones. They didn‛t live in water!‛ Meg and Nick scratched their heads. ‘Are you sure?‛ asked Nick. ‘I think all fish live in water. Did you see frogs, not fish?‛ ‘They were fish!‛ said Jack. ‘I‛ll take you to them. You‛ll see.‛ Brilliant!‛ said Meg. The children took a bus to a mangrove forest. There was lots of mud there. The
children walked through the mud and tried to spot the strange fish. Something climbed on Meg‛s foot. ‘Oh!‛ she cried. ‘What‛s that? Is it Jack‛s fish?‛
