KINGDOM ADVANCE magazine

Dear Church Family

What an extraordinary season we are stepping into together! As we look back on the past decade, our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude—gratitude to God and to each of you who have faithfully journeyed with us. Together, we’ve witnessed God’s hand at work in ways beyond what we could have imagined.

Psalm 126:3 (NKJV) proclaims,

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy”.

This verse is the anthem of our hearts as we celebrate the countless ways God has demonstrated His faithfulness and as we honour the overwhelming generosity of Horizon Church. Your faithfulness, sacrifice, and vision have paved the way for us to be here today, standing at the threshold of something truly extraordinary. Now, it’s time to lift our eyes and boldly step into the future God has prepared for us!

We are entering into our Kingdom Advance Offering, a sacred and transformative opportunity to sow into God’s eternal purposes. This is a moment where our faith intersects with God’s vision, as we invest in three powerful areas of Kingdom impact:

1. Kingdom Expansion

God is calling us to new horizons, to take bold steps in planting campuses across Australia and beyond. This isn’t just about buildings—it’s about people, communities, and lives being transformed by the gospel. Read more about the incredible stories of growth and the exciting vision ahead on pages 10-13

2. Kingdom Partners

What a privilege it is to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with extraordinary organisations and missionaries who are shining the light of Jesus in the darkest places. They bring hope to the hopeless, justice to the oppressed, and the love of God to those in need. Discover the lifechanging impact of these partnerships and how your giving is transforming lives on pages 16-19.

3. Kingdom Reach

Here in our local communities, we are answering the call to be the hands and feet of Jesus—bringing hope, healing, and practical care to those around us. Through our outreach programs, we are meeting real needs and seeing God’s love touch hearts in tangible ways. Learn about the incredible opportunities to make a difference in our local community on pages 22-29.

Psalm 126:3 in the Contemporary English Version says, “And so we celebrated because the Lord had indeed worked miracles for us.” Today, we celebrate with hearts full of gratitude for the miracles we’ve already seen, and we look ahead with faith-filled anticipation for what God will do next.

This is our time to rise, to give, and to believe for greater things. Together, we will advance His Kingdom and see His name lifted high!

In Christ and for His glory, Brad and Ali

Since 1949, when our founding pastor, Norm Armstrong, and his wife, Gwendoline, embarked on the bold mission to establish a Pentecostal witness in South Sydney, God has faithfully expanded the reach and influence of Horizon Church. What began as a humble gathering of believers in the Sutherland School of Arts has grown into a vibrant, flourishing movement, as God has carried His church from strength to strength—welcoming communities far and wide into our family through our beautiful campuses.

In recent years, we have leaned wholeheartedly on God’s provision, holding the delicate balance between reducing debt and responding to the Spirit’s leading for the next season of Horizon Church. By His abundant grace, we have significantly reduced our debt, freeing us from the grip it once held over us and positioning us for greater opportunities ahead. With deep gratitude, we honour every person who has faithfully sown. Your unwavering generosity has been a profound testament to God’s faithfulness. We also celebrate our exceptional Board and Finance team, whose wisdom, faith, and stewardship have positioned us in a place of remarkable strength and opportunity.

OUR STORY SO FAR

Over the past year, we have not only accelerated debt reduction but also achieved key milestones across our campuses. The Sydney South West Campus marked the second year of its expansion project, creating much-needed space to welcome even more people into the life of the church. At the Perth Campus, a new sound system was installed to elevate the worship experience, while the Busselton Campus saw exciting upgrades, including new kids’ rooms and enhanced equipment for its enclosed outdoor area, transforming it into a welcoming space for year-round connection and community-building.

As we reflect on over 75 years of God’s miraculous work, we marvel at His faithfulness and provision. Horizon Church stands today as a living testimony of His goodness, positioned in strength and filled with bold faith for the future. Together, we move forward with expectant hearts, trusting that God’s most extraordinary plans are still unfolding.

VISION

Isaiah 54:1-5

“1Sing, O barren, you who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not laboured with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord. ²Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. 3For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited.”

4Don’t be afraid! You will not be disappointed. People will not say bad things against you. You will not be embarrassed. When you were young, you felt shame. But you will forget that shame now. You will not remember the shame you felt when you lost your husband. ⁵For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called.”

CAMPUSES HOUSE THE HARVEST

Kingdom Expansion

HORIZON STELLENBOSCH

Horizon Stellenbosch launched In October 2024 and we have already witnessed God’s remarkable favour and blessing! Under the exceptional leadership of Pastors Craig and Kaylynn, a passionate team has been built, and incredible momentum is growing. In just a short time, over 50 people have made decisions for Jesus, and on New Year’s Eve, the campus celebrated its first “I Have Decided” service, where 22 individuals were water baptised! Horizon Stellenbosch is thriving, and we remain committed to investing in this dynamic community, believing that many more will find their spiritual home and encounter the life-changing power of Christ.

HORIZON SYDNEY WEST | NSW

HORIZON PERTH | WA

Since the launch of weekly services in February 2024, Horizon Perth has become a vibrant and thriving community where God’s presence is moving powerfully. Pastors John and Deb Herbert are faithfully leading the Campus, creating a strong foundation for growth and discipleship. In just 12 months, lives have been touched by the Gospel, many have made commitments to Christ, and 11 people have been baptised in water. Positioned in Australia’s fastest growing capital city, Horizon Perth is growing into a flourishing spiritual home, and we look forward with great expectation to the continued work of God in and through this amazing community.

We are excited to take the next steps in planting Horizon Sydney West. The Greater Parramatta corridor is rapidly emerging as the heart of Sydney’s Central City, with significant growth and transformation projected over the next 20 years. As a church, we have been seeking God’s guidance for the strategic steps forward, dedicating this vision to prayer and trusting in His leading.

In 2025, we will officially establish our presence in Sydney West. We are beginning with the launch of a dynamic lifegroup and eagerly await to see God move in this new season. As we share the love of Jesus across the region, we look forward to building meaningful connections, transforming lives, and being a light in this rapidly growing community.

HORIZON PHILIPPINES

In 2017, Horizon Church received a prophetic word regarding our reach into the Philippines. At that moment a powerful seed of faith was planted, inspiring us to dream of how Horizon Church could partner with God’s plan for this nation. Over the years, we have seen groups of people in the Philippines engaging with Horizon online—especially during the COVID season—in this we saw God knitting together a deeper connection and affirming His call to reach this vibrant nation.

Now, in 2025, we are humbled and excited to announce the launch of Horizon Philippines. With a population of over 120 million spread across more than 7,000 islands, the Philippines is ripe for a powerful Gospel movement. We feel led by the Spirit to establish a central campus in South Signal, Taguig City, Manila. From this strategic location, our vision is to build a ministry that will:

• Plant thriving, Christ-centred churches across the islands

• Raise up leaders equipped to disciple their communities and share the Gospel

• Partner with local communities to bring hope, healing, and practical support

On this journey, God has connected us with an incredible couple, Pastors Jethro and Bhamby, and their children, Atara and Arapha. For years, they have faithfully served their local community with integrity and passion. Now, they feel called to lead this new Horizon campus!

Horizon Church’s ministry in the Philippines will focus on creating a spiritual home where people from all walks of life can encounter Jesus, experience transformation, and be empowered to impact their world. Through church planting, leadership development, and intentional community outreach, we believe God will establish a legacy of faith and revival that touches the islands and beyond.

We invite you to join us in prayer as we step into this exciting new season.

HORIZON CHURCH PHILIPPINES — THE BEGINNINGS

HORIZON SPAIN

Romans 15:24 (NKJV) “I am planning to go to Spain” — The Apostle Paul

In 2027, we will launch Horizon Spain, a pivotal initiative to advance the vision God has placed on our hearts: to train church planters and see one million souls saved over the next 10 years. Horizon Spain will be a flagship church for us in Europe, serving as a dynamic training and equipping hub for church planters across Europe and Northern Africa. This hub will empower leaders to plant multiplying churches and expand the Kingdom throughout the region.

This strategic location positions us to reach over 90% of the world’s population currently residing in the

Northern Hemisphere. Spain’s proximity to Africa and its central positioning within Europe make it an ideal base for equipping and sending leaders into both continents, leaving a lasting and transformative impact for the Kingdom of God.

We are believing for a mighty move of God through Horizon Spain as we step out in faith to fulfil the Great Commission. Please join us in prayer for continued wisdom, favour, and guidance as we prepare for this exciting new chapter over the coming years.

ONE HUNDREDCHURCH Planters One MILLION SOULS

Isaiah 54:2 (NKJV) declares, “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.”

Now, more than ever, the world is crying out for Jesus. He alone can bring the peace that restless hearts are searching for, the justice the oppressed desperately long for, and the healing that every broken soul so deeply needs. The power of the Gospel doesn’t just change lives—it transforms families, reshapes communities, and impacts entire nations. When Jesus touches a heart, everything changes.

But this life-changing message cannot remain within the walls of our tent. It must go out. Millions still live in darkness, without the hope that only Christ can bring. The hour is urgent, and the need is great.

Our strategy is bold yet deeply rooted in the Great Commission: to raise up 100 church planters who will, in turn, train and release others to plant churches. Some of these churches may become campuses of Horizon Church, while others may grow as autonomous congregations. At the heart of this vision is a divine burden—to train, equip, and release sons and daughters.

Ralph Neighbour, an authority on church leadership and lifegroups, once said, “The most effective way to touch a community is through the planting of prevailing churches.” We believe this wholeheartedly. Church planting is not just about expanding our reach but about empowering vibrant expressions of faith that bring life and transformation to communities. These church planters will be more than builders of congregations; they will be pioneers, shaping communities, spreading the Gospel, and raising up future leaders.

Let us rise with boldness and

know, lengthening our reach, and strengthening our faith to carry the Gospel to the ends

Together, we are believing for to see one million souls saved in across the globe. This vision the Church unites in fervent prayer, relentless action, and

The call is clear, the mission is urgent, and the opportunity is ours. Let’s expand, stretch,

church plant will be a lighthouse, radiating hope, where the broken can find healing and the lost can encounter Jesus in a deeply personal way.

To see this vision fulfilled, we are committed to equipping our planters with training, resources, and ongoing support. We will undergird them with steadfast prayer and practical help, ensuring that they not only go, but in doing so, thrive.

This is more than a strategy; it is a calling, a movement, and an invitation to partner with God in seeing His Kingdom come. Together, we can change lives, transform communities, and advance the Gospel in ways that will ripple into eternity.

Destiny Rescue

RESCUE CHANGES EVERYTHING

Destiny Rescue is a global Christian non-governmental organisation (NGO) that is dedicated to rescuing children from sexual exploitation and trafficking and helping them stay free.

Highly trained agents work with local law enforcement to raid an establishment where children are being sexually exploited, they then commence a pathway to freedom programme so each child can live the destiny that God has for them. These raids not only frees children but can also lead to the arrest of traffickers and the closing down of an establishment.

In 2024, Destiny Rescue has coordinated the rescue of 3,275 individuals in 172 rescue initiatives, leading to 205 arrests. Since their founding, Destiny Rescue has brought freedom to a total of 17,959 individuals.

Post rescue, survivors are provided with an individualised care strategy including trauma resilience training and a return to school or financial independence.

The generosity of Horizon Church has helped Destiny Rescue to bring freedom and hope to children once trapped in the darkest circumstances. Through our ongoing support, this profoundly life-transforming work continues to change lives. While the children we have helped rescue may never know our name, their stories of freedom could not be told without us.

SHE CHANGED HER NAME TO VICTORY

Namazzi faced unimaginable hardship in Uganda from an early age.

When she was just 13 years old, Namazzi lived rough in a crime-ridden slum, entrapped in a brothel while addicted to drugs to cope with the trauma of abuse. Hopeless and hurting, she began to think of herself in a term locals used for addicts: spoilt.

But one day, as she was in the act of taking drugs, someone stopped to talk to her. That person was one of our Destiny Rescue agents. Namazzi was offered a way out of her desperate situation. “No one had [ever] helped me,” said Namazzi. “I had lost hope.”

Namazzi entered our aftercare and said “I found the Lord. Because…the project changed me, I serve the Lord.” One night, Namazzi had a startling dream. In it, she heard a voice tell her to change her name. In her language, her new name means Victory.

That name change is indicative of what has happened in Victory’s life. Now, she praises God in the church choir and even counsels other girls with similar stories. She has plans to open her own boutique. Her songs are full of joy, and her heart is full of gratitude.

KINGDOM PARTNERS

The Haven

DIGNITY. RESPECT. COMMUNITY.

This remarkable ministry is making a profound impact on the streets of East Victoria Park, just meters from our Horizon Perth location. Eight years ago, Gordon and Joan, cherished members of our Horizon Church family, founded this ministry with a heart to serve, starting by providing 200 meals per quarter to homeless individuals in Perth.

The ministry’s reach has grown exponentially, increasing by 50% in the last 12 months, now distributing over 57,000 meals and hampers EVERY QUARTER to the homeless and disadvantaged in their local community. These acts of compassion are transforming lives and bringing hope where it’s needed most.

In the past year, this ministry expanded its reach with the launch of the Furniture Assistance Program, supporting individuals and families transitioning out of corrective centres, escaping domestic violence, or securing accommodation after long-term homelessness.

Horizon Church served alongside The Haven on Christmas Day providing Christmas breakfast and gifts to hundreds of families and we are privileged to partner with Joan and Gordon as they continue to lead this life-changing ministry, touching many lives and meeting critical needs in their community.

LARA & SEAN’S STORY

Around six years ago, Joan and Gordon served a meal to a young couple, Lara and Sean*, who were expecting a baby. Lara had previously lost three children to welfare due to addiction and life on the streets. Over time, a trusting relationship formed, and the couple made the courageous decision to turn their lives around. With Joan and Gordon’s support, they applied to a rehab centre in Geraldton.

Sean and Lara chose to get married, and Joan and Gordon walked alongside them, helping organise their wedding. They even found Lara a wedding dress at Vinnies. To get married, Lara needed a birth certificate— something she had never owned. Gordon took her to the registry office, where Lara exclaimed with joy, “Look, Dad! I’m a real person—I’ve got a birth certificate!” For Lara, who grew up on the streets in a dysfunctional family, it was a deeply profound moment of recognition and identity.

Since then, Sean and Lara have completely transformed their lives. They now have two daughters and live in secure housing. They cook nutritious meals, and their girls are thriving in school. Witnessing their transformation is nothing short of incredible—a powerful testament to the redemptive work of God, who alone can turn lives around so completely.

Rural Australia

ROB & RHONDA

Robert and Rhonda are among some of our most experienced overseas workers, having spent over 30 years living among Muslim communities, Robert and Rhonda’s ministry emphasis is for strong indigenous leadership and ownership of vision.

They support a National Team that is committed to seeing communities transformed for the better, as well as lives reflecting Christ. Robert graduated with a Doctorate from an Islamic University, whilst Rhonda has facilitated the Flourish program throughout Indonesia, training numerous facilitators. Robert coordinates a Bible Translation project tailored for the average Muslim, faithful to the original text. He believes that easily understood scripture is crucial for a thriving faith community.

The Flourish program continues to be implemented in a variety of contexts for women, including for rural Muslim villages to Government Office workers, as well as conservative Muslim groups and for non-Muslims. Despite the diversity, there is a common message communicated; that women have a God-given value and purpose.

JIM & JULIE

Jim and his wife Julie are key members of the team at Horizon Sydney South West. As a credentialed ACC pastor, Jim has spent the past year travelling extensively to regional areas across New South Wales and Victoria, bringing encouragement to pastors and ministering to their congregations. Through his ministry, Jim has witnessed incredible moments of transformation— healings, individuals receiving Christ as their Saviour, and marriages and relationships being restored.

Jim’s work in these country churches is both highly effective and deeply needed. Many pastors in these areas face significant isolation, and the encouragement and practical assistance Jim provides are profoundly valued. Please join us in praying for these country churches and their pastors, that they would feel strengthened and supported in their vital ministry.

In addition to his regional work, Jim is a dedicated member of Horizon’s Care Team, where he loves supporting and caring for our church family. His heart for people and passion for ministry continue to be a blessing to many.

ROGER & REBECCA

Roger and Rebecca are specialist field workers with ACC International Missions and Relief. They work to connect Australian churches with grassroots ministries in Southern Europe, fostering partnerships, expanding existing programs, and developing new pathways for reaching more people with the love of Jesus. Southern Europe, once the centre for great seafaring empires, is now a region with high unemployment and widespread poverty. Though many people are culturally religious, few attend church and even fewer have personally experienced the life-changing power of God. This mission field is ripe for harvest!

Roger is a much loved part of Horizon Church, faithfully serving for almost a decade on our Board. He and Rebecca (an experienced leader in the social services sector) are passionate about God impacting lives and seeing communities transformed.

This year our support has enabled two pastors to study at the National AOG Bible College of Portugal, who will continue to reach the mission field of Europe, specifically in Lisbon. Roger and Bec will return to Southern Europe this year, continuing to meet with national pentecostal leaders, expanding the scholarship program and further extending their reach beyond Portugal and into Spain. LAURA

Laura is a deeply valued member of the Horizon Church family, and for the past couple of years, she has been serving on the mission field in the Middle East. Recently, she partnered with a team to support a two-month internship program for Christian students at Al-Azhar University in Egypt. In her role, she coordinates events and provides support to students from the U.S. and the Middle East, facilitating their engagement in dialogue with Muslim scholars. Laura also helps the students adjust to life in Cairo and manage the rigorous academic demands of the program. Her prior studies in Arabic and Middle Eastern culture in Jordan have uniquely equipped her for this important work.

Founded in 969 AD, Al-Azhar University is the world’s foremost Islamic university, hosting over 250,000 Muslim students, including 20,000 international students who often return to their home countries as influential leaders. This internship program provides these future Muslim leaders with opportunities to encounter Biblical truths while equipping Christian students to engage in respectful and meaningful dialogue.

The response to the program has been overwhelmingly positive. Students have shared rich conversations with local students, senior leaders, and other Egyptians, fostering understanding and planting seeds for future relationships and Kingdom impact. Laura’s dedication and passion continue to make a lasting difference in this significant ministry.

GO Everywhere IN THE WORLD, TELL THE GOOD NEWS TO

Kingdom Reach

MEALS FOR MUMS

Meals for Mums was established to provide practical support and relief to Mums at challenging times but now extends well beyond Mums to individuals and families in need. Approximately 440 meals were distributed to individuals and families in 2024 through Sutherland Shire Campus. All meals are home-cooked and generously donated by Horizon Volunteers, carefully packaged, labelled and hand delivered to people who have welcomed a newborn into the family or are negotiating illness, significant life challenges or experiencing financial duress.

UNIVERSITY OUTREACH

University plays a crucial role in shaping a young person’s life as they navigate pivotal moments and transitions. The shift to university is often both exciting and challenging, offering opportunities for growth but also presenting unique pressures. At Horizon Church, we recognise this critical season and the need for spiritual support during these formative years.

In 2025, we are believing, strategising, and praying for open doors into these universities, with a vision to see a fresh move of God among young adults. Horizon Perth will be actively reaching into Curtin University, one of the largest universities in Australia, with over 58,000 students, including a significant population of international students. The ministry will aim to create a welcoming and supportive space where students can build meaningful relationships, and explore their faith amidst the challenges of university life.

We believe the impact of these ministries will extend far beyond campus boundaries, shaping a generation passionate about living for God and making a lasting, positive difference in the world. By reaching young adults during this pivotal stage, we are sowing seeds of faith that will ripple into their future careers, families, and communities.

CHAPLAINCY

Chaplaincy is a vital pillar of care in our communities, offering a listening ear, emotional support, and spiritual guidance to people during their most vulnerable moments. Chaplains provide comfort and hope, bridging the gap between practical needs and emotional resilience. In today’s fast-paced world, where loneliness and mental health challenges are increasingly prevalent, chaplaincy serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of personal connection and unconditional care.

More than offering guidance, chaplains embody a compassionate presence, walking alongside individuals of all beliefs and backgrounds with kindness and understanding. Their work goes beyond transforming individual lives; it strengthens the fabric of entire communities by fostering hope, dignity, and healing where it is needed most.

SCHOOL CHAPLAINCY

School chaplains play a vital role in supporting the holistic wellbeing of school communities across Australia. Through one-on-one support, leading small groups, and building connections with staff, students, and families, school chaplains make a meaningful difference and are deeply valued by their communities. Horizon Church partners with school chaplains in our local areas to facilitate impactful programs and support them in distributing Birthday-in-a-Box packages and gifts received during our Gift Giving Services to those within their school communities.

HOSPITAL CHAPLAINCY

Hospital chaplains provide vital pastoral support, prayer, and encouragement to both patients and their families at Sutherland Hospital. The feedback from this ministry has been deeply impactful. One relative of a patient beautifully expressed how, when chaplains entered a ward with a smile and took the time to connect on a personal level, they felt valued, heard, and, most significantly, experienced God’s presence and peace, even in the gravity of their circumstances.

Hospital chaplains regularly have the privilege of sharing God’s love and praying with people from all walks of life. In 2024, Horizon Church had five chaplains volunteering as part of an ecumenical team, covering the majority of hospital wards and providing support to the emergency department when needed. Additionally, we were able to supply valuable Bible resources to assist the chaplaincy team and deliver Christmas gifts to children in the Paediatric Ward, bringing hope and joy during the holiday season.

ISAIAH 54:3

YOUTH

YOUTH

Students spend around 40 hours a week at school, and while the 3.5 hours they spend with us on Friday nights are undoubtedly the highlight of their week—a time to encounter God, build friendships, create memories, and grow in their faith—we recognise that truly reaching this generation means meeting them where they are: in their schools. Schools are where young people face challenges, discover their identity, and shape their futures. By being present in these spaces, we can connect with students more effectively, understand their needs, and serve our community in a deeper and more impactful way.

In 2024, we had the privilege of stepping back into schools. We were honoured to feature as keynote speakers during Mental Health and Wellbeing Days, presenting Horizon Youth as a trusted resource for young people. It was a powerful opportunity to engage with students in their environment and provide the hope, support, and encouragement they need.

As we move into 2025, we are excited to strengthen these trusted partnerships and enhance our resources to position Horizon Youth as a legitimate, safe, and fun place for students to belong. By increasing our presence in schools, we are investing in the next generation and creating opportunities to inspire and equip young people with faith, confidence, and resilience.

Shirelive Foundation

The Shirelive Foundation is a Registered Tax Deductible Gift Fund used to support those charitable programs that are eligible to receive tax deductible donations. In addition to our charitable care arm, endeavours supported by the Shirelive Foundation include the following:

BIRTHDAY IN A BOX

Since its beginnings in 2021, the Birthday in a Box initiative has grown into a vibrant expression of love and care for children in need. Born from a heartfelt desire for every child to feel seen and loved, these thoughtfully curated boxes are packed with age-appropriate gifts, ‘instant birthday party’ supplies, and essential items such as socks, toiletries, and school supplies. At no cost to families, these boxes have reached hundreds of children in high-need situations, including those in emergency housing and hospitals.

Local businesses have played a vital role, contributing to fill these boxes. Partnering with respected organisations across Sydney and Western Australia, we want to ensure these gifts reach children in our community who need them most.

As demand continues to surpass our supply, 2025 presents a pivotal opportunity for growth. We’re committed to expanding our capacity, building new partnerships with businesses, and meeting the increasing needs of children nationwide. Together, we aim to grow this ministry, spreading God’s love in a tangible, joyful way to children and teenagers on their special day.

Thank you for helping us make a meaningful difference—one birthday at a time!

STELLENBOSCH COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Our Horizon Stellenbosch campus is situated in an area of high-need, presenting the opportunity to support many families and individuals living in poverty. Since its launch in October 2024, Horizon Stellenbosch has already provided more than 200 stationery packs filled with school supplies for school students, over 400 university care packs for local students at Stellenbosch University and food hampers to many families in need. As we look to the future, there are many opportunities for us to make a real and immediate impact in the lives of those in the Stellenbosch area.

GINORMOUS EASTER EGG HUNT

The Ginormous Easter Egg Hunt is an annual event eagerly anticipated by our local community at our Sutherland Shire campus. This event boasts a festivalstyle environment, where families can enjoy face painting, jumping castles and other family-friendly activities over and above the egg hunt. It is because of the donation of thousands of easter eggs every year that Shirelive Media and Performing Arts can continue to put this free, family event on for our local community, which is a fun and memorable experience for all. We are looking to expand the Ginormous Easter Egg Hunts across all locations in the season ahead.

CAROLS IN THE SHIRE

Carols in the Shire is one of the largest FREE carols events in the Sutherland Shire catering to all ages, especially young families. Each year Carols in the Shire boasts a terrific line-up of known guest artists and performers, with many dignitaries, local MP’s and community business leaders in attendance. This event provides a safe, family-friendly environment for the Sutherland Shire and surrounding communities to enjoy singing beautiful songs and carols, as we remember the reason for the season.
