Justice were in the studio in a carefree mood. It was late, they’d already had some wine and didn’t plan to work anymore, but Gaspard suddenly sat down at drums and began beating the drumbass.
“I hear…” Xavier whispered, glancing down at his Audio, Video, Disco tattoo, focusing on the rhythmic beat. “I see…” He added as he observed his friend, quickly sitting down to the piano as the tune started to make sense. “I learn…” He started playing something that’d fit the catchy rhythm.
“Audio, Video, Disco…” Gaspard murmured, sharing a grin as their melodies worked together effortlessly.

A Close Call
The presence of God is hard to find in the world we live in. But as I gaze through the windows of this ship, I feel as though it had finally connected with me. Traversing the galaxy for the exploration of the universe we hold dear is a daunting one, but one that gives purpose. Tricky, dangerous, but exuberantly fulfilling all the same.
Becoming an Explorer of this kind is not something that happens naturally, especially becoming one by yourself. With a companion, it’s better. With a partner, it’s beautiful. My wonderful, long haired co-explorer brought us to a new land last night. A land called Genesis that smelled of grapes that had been turned into wine.
Creatures not known to other planets inhabit this vast space. Blue sands embedded with trust change to disorienting palettes detailing that of war. The winter battles and the summer children pen stories of this unknown land. Loud, glass breaking screeches echoed to signal the Call of the Altered Beasts. Wild horned creatures trample and stomp like loud phantoms towards us but we managed to escape.
I don’t know how I awoke this morning, but the deed got done.
I step out and gaze into the cosmos. The hand of God rests upon my shoulder. The hand of my partner nestled into mine. A Close Call avoided.
The world is beautiful today.
