WEST TAMAR RESIDENTS CELEBRATE BOOKWEEK George Town Chamber of Commerce 2019 Business Excellence award winners gather displaying their awards.
The George Town Chamber of Commerce held their awards evening on the 29th of August. The awards evening experienced a high level of nonminations based on previous years which the awards have been held. Nominations were open for a period of one month closing on the 26th of July 2019. Nominees for the awards took part in an award judging process which included interviews regarding the type of contribtion which indivudal businesses make to the George Town
and Tasmanian communties. Judging pannels were made up of professionals from local and regional industry which included forty interview over two days. The Chamber believe that the high level of entry compared to previous years displays and growing quality and diversity of business within George Town which makes the muncipality and better place to live, work and raise a family. The award and their winners are as follows; Best New Business : Pink Poodle
