Make sure to weigh your horse’s feed. Do not measure feed by volume alone.

Feed a minimum of 1.5% of your horse’s body weight daily as roughage.

Horses have small stomachs, so feed little and often. Give no more than approximately 4.5 lbs. of hard feed per meal.

Ensure horses have access to clean water at all times. For dietary recommendations and nutritional solutions, contact info@hygainfeeds.com or 805-552-4016.
