HYDRALADA Q-4 AUX OIL RETURN MAXI MODELS
Isolate machine battery and make safe for servicing.
Hydraulic Control Valve
Locate coil loom from behind oil tank. Plug marked with A1, connect to coil.
Route pressure hose and Return hose from Cage end down boom and into the tank side of chassis.
At Filter Head, disconnect hose, remove adapter. Fit 37-1738-00 Adapter to Filter head and Fit 37-7343-01 Adapter, Tee. Connect Return hose and secure with hose clamp.
Fit 37-7344-00 Tail push on to the return hose and connect to Tee.
Remove blank form front of the Central collector block.
Fit 32-2873-00 Cartridge Relief valve 2000psi.
Remove 2x blanks from rear face of central connector block.
Fit 37-1320-00 Adapter, tighten and connect pressure hose
Fit Cartridge 32-9957-00 and tighten. Fit 32-9958-00 Coil, Solenoid.
Platform
Remove cover from the rear of the platform. Route Hydraulic Hoses up into the cavity.
Fit 37-7345-00 Adapters with Loctite 569 to the underside of the block. Connect Pressure hose. Fit 37-7344-00 Tail push on to the return hose and connect and tighten. Pressure hose as shown Fit Quick Disconnect couplings or blank bungs.
Dash Panel.
Remove Dash panel screws 4mm hex bit, and carefully lift dash panel to access wiring loom behind.
Fit 83-10178-00 Switch Rotary Aux oil to dash panel as marked on dash decal.
Fit 81-10170-00 Loom Aux oil to dash panel. As per wiring diagram below.
Red wire from Aux oil loom must connect to the same connection as the White wire (#4) on the Ignition Switch. (Not the yellow).
Longer of the Two brown wire, connect to Dash loom wire #A6. This wire will have heat shrink attached to the end.
2 pin flanged Deutsch plug for Hydraulic loppa can be fitted to the lower corner of Dash panel with M4 screws or tucked away under dash.
Connect Aux oil module to Aux oil loom assembly and secure module with bolt to RH corner of dash.
Fit 86-10195-00 Mini fuse 3amp to Fuse block AUX OIL position behind tank.
Fit 61-5240-00 Danger Decal to platform cover. Note: Electrical danger decal will require moving down or replacement. -Important Note-
When energised by the Aux oil switch, the module latches and provides power to the Aux oil coil which supplies oil to the platfrom. A tool must be fitted to allow oil to return otherwise the system dead heads. The module remains latched until either the Aux switch is turned off or the machine is restarted.
