we teach and learn about it and feel we can do anything in your life for others. I feel blessed for being part of this session. Thank you very much for knowing peace education and HWPL. It is also necessary to put down weapons to benefit mankind, develop friendly relations, guarantee people's right to decide, resolve international disputes in a peaceful manner, and spread a culture of religious freedom, peaceful coexistence, and peace. The DPCW contains these things and is needed to spread world peace.

I will make the best of this opportunity and do my best to share and spread the knowledge passed to me by HWPL teams of educators. In this regard I have already planned to conduct this program in three places. One is introductory sessions for teachers of Mianz international school to encourage the teachers in taking part in the HPWL peace educators program. The second part of my plan is deliver the peace educator program to at least hundred students of Mianz International College and lastly to assist in including peace education and promotion in the newly developed youth program of the scout Association of the Maldives and to introduce the programs to teachers the scout movement. I hope that all the other participants would also have a plan, in fact a much better plan to promote and spread peace. I assure HWPL that I will provide my full commitment to this noble cause and is ready and happy to assist our very inspired and motivated team in any way I could. I wish all the best and peace to all.

I have learnt a lot from these sessions. We should be grateful for what others do for us & should feel empathy & sympathy towards others. Culture plays a vital role to make peace in the world & we should spread love & discourage hate & greed. We should know that war is due to greed for land, jealousy & power, & it should be discouraged in order to live peacefully in the world. We should be considerate of others no matter which religion, language, culture or ability he comes from. Peace could be created only with lot of courage & love.

The lessons were well-planned with appropriate examples. The entire curriculum was designed to provide a new perspective on peace, at least for me. I believe if imparted successfully, the peace education program can develop a new generation of peace-loving citizens. The lessons encouraged human virtues, that are unfortunately, falling out of practice yet are a necessary precondition to ensuring peace in the world. The lessons once again reinforced the truth that pursuit of personal interest would ultimately harm the collective interest of humanity. For everyone to find happiness, we need cooperation, compromise, sacrifice, love and respect, and most importantly, learn to value human life. My hope remains that more people will be able to realize these truths and accept them through the peace education and ultimately contribute to a sustainable peace that we can pass down to our future generations.

Honestly, I was hard to symphathize the reason why respect is important. Because I thought nobody respected me in the past. However, from today class, I was able to find and think my friends and family are considering about me unconciously.

Peace education plays a really important role in helping children understand why peace is important. Through peace education, we can understand what peace means and how we should make peace. First of all, from the standpoint of implementing peace education, I think it is important to know exactly what we are teaching and teach children to be motivated. It is important to create a place where children can actually participate and discuss enthusiastically. I think it is also very helpful to use visual materials such as flash cards and PPT, or to play games that children can enjoy participating in.

Children's reaction was satisfied when conducting the first department, and it is expected to grow into the right person through this education.Children were interested to know the relationship between nature and peace and peace.

Before this course, I simply thought that Peace means no wars and mutual love. Until now, I understand that in daily life, wars still exist in some other forms like conflicts, hatred, fights. Most countries in the world are developed and peaceful nowadays. However, there're still many small countries where wars still take place everyday and people still have to suffer that terrible pain. Therefore, people have to love and share with each other more and more to stop wars.

My teacher is so cute. I like this coure so much. I had chance sharing my thought when my teacher divided the class into 3 teams and had a small discussion. I also understand that even a small thing that is believed to be useless still has their own values. Let's take the elephant's dung as an example. People think it is useless but in fact, we can use it as fertiliser or to produce paper.

The program educates students not only about peace but also life values such as love, gratitude, and how to preserve peace

“Peace Education” course is very enjoyable for me (even though I'm an old person) and I'm learning a lot of new things. I think that it is a good lesson that even children can understand quickly, and it is suitable for children’s mind and age and attracts their interest. It is very easy to teach the lesson because the materials and tools are ready. Therefore, in the future, if possible, it would be more convenient for people like me if you make it like a training program with printed books or materials, and make them available to schools. If this lesson becomes a program, it will be implemented on a larger scale. Also, I feel good that the “Peace Education” lesson is ready to be used in ethics lessons in the future.

In the past, traditional morals and customs were taught in the “Civic/Citizenship Education” course, but in the “Peace Education” course, international information was used to teach the children that the future steps to become global citizens start from today's school age. And what our society needed was compassion, love, and gratitude. It was really appreciative that our children understand this thing a little bit, and start using it in their daily life, education and communication. For our children, what they learned from this lesson and practiced every day was “gratitude”. I think we have made it a good habit for our students to practice gratitude very well.

1) Why we should respect diversity? Because our country, workplaces and schools consist of various culture, race and ethnic group. We can learn from one another, but first, we must have a level of understanding about each other. 2) How to respect diversity? Increase our level of understanding about other cultures by interacting with people outside of our own culture and be proactive in listening, accepting, and welcoming people and ideas that are different from our own.

Lovely Suson / Stairway to Hope

Share your experience interacting with people with different language, race, religion, culture. I was born in Sabah, Malaysia. But both of my parents are Filipino, which means I am also a Filipino. Since I grew up in Sabah, I'm used to Malaysian culture. I do get curious about my fellowmen in the Phillipines, especially about the culture. Whenever I get the chance to meet other Filipinos, I took the advantange to ask about the Phillipines and the people. I learned that Malaysian and Filipino culture have a lot in common as well as differences.

In recent years, the amount of war in the world is increased. Now people try to act in the way that themselves want, they don't think the action that they do is right or not. It brings me to this believe that HWPL Peace Education class is need for all people in the world. HWPL Peace Education class causes people to come together and share their ideas to each other. their opinions in the class, their amount of information gets more and help them to understand the deep meaning of peace. in HWPL Peace Education class, we learn that whatever we do is not always right. we learn that we are responsible for whatever we do and in everywhere we do in our family, society, or in a country. HWPL Peace Education class causes people deeply think about their behaviors. after I participated Peace Education class, I completely changed. right now every night for 20 minutes sit down and think about all my behaviors during the day. HWPL Peace Education class help us to think and change our conducts. It is extremely important to all people in the world. I would recommand you to join the class. surely it can change your characteristics.

I think that the heritage of our ancestors should be preserved so that everyone can be sustainable together. I hope there is a peace education center like this that we are doing, and I'm looking forward to the future of DPCW.

I pledge to prioritize Peace Education in my personal and professional life. I will actively seek out opportunities to learn about empathy, communication, conflict resolution, and other essential skills for building a peaceful society. I will strive to promote understanding and compassion in my interactions with others and actively work towards peaceful problem-solving. To achieve this, I plan to use various interactive activities, such as role-playing and group discussions, to encourage students to share their perspectives and experiences while promoting empathy and understanding. After finishing Peace Education Online Training, my plan is to actively promote peace education in my classroom and beyond.

I tried to conduct peace education and spread a culture of peace in school. Although there was no war in Lebanon, we had been carrying out peace education because of various crises. So that is why I would like to receive materials about HWPL Peace Education and create experiences of peace education.

HWPL peace education materials are great for teaching students and individuals. During the class, we felt that the students were effectively listening to and discussing different ideas with us. Many students delivered their questions and comments, and they were very interested in peace education. They also wanted to be messengers of peace.
