The Forest

Forest and light practice.I searched some pictures about sunlight shines through trees.

I imagined that there was a little traveler left her boat and went into forest.

Plants

In the deep forest, it became darker.

Little traveler found that there were various plants she had only seen in books. Some of them ware poisonous while others had different functions.

Every witch will start their travel when they are nine years old. This is the second year of her adventure.

04 Old Man Portrait practice.I enjoyed to draw his eyes because his eyes were full of story.

Maybe he was watching his granddaughter leaving home.

One day morning, I took a bus to work in a busy city.

In bus, everyone stared at their smartphones with anxious face.

No one noticed that there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky.

This idea is from my little cousin who is mischievous and does not like to draw on paper.I believe there is a naughty monster in his body.

Depression

It is sad that more and more people suffer from depression.

I asked my friend who had depression “What is depression feels like?�

Then I also searched information about this mental illness.

Drew what do I feel about this.

I was already drowing but everyone told me Not really percise.

My friend told me how she felt when she was in depression.

How I feel about pain�ng

Many people say that painting is static activity but it could be actually dynamic,crazy and wild inside.

Everytime I paint, it seems like I am on adventure.

Imagination Reality

I finally chose stingray because it was tranquiller and smaller than whale.

I drew water reflection. I think reflection is checking myself while I want to share.

If I were animal, I dont think I would be a big animal.

Cold tone (Water and sky)

I kept this.

I put many materials that I like and they might represent me. For example, hot air balloon, universe, robot and animals.

My creation is not out of my pencil but my heart, hence I deleted pen.Then my imagination filled with background.

It looks like thinking or saying hello to someone.

Thus, I used green color in the middle

Warm tone (Heart)

Leopard is one of my favorite animal which is wild, fast and mysterious.

I imagined that there were an elf on my shoulder when I was painting.

I tried to make my robot simple and old because I wanted to put flower behind robot. If robot is complicated that will be messy.

Painting is like taking a trip or adventure.This artwork must be colorful and full of various materials.

Miss You

My friend lost his girlfriend because of car accident. “Where can I meet her again?� he asked. | Photoshop

I tried to add some shooting stars but those made picture more messy.

The girl’s angle was a little unnatural.

Originally, I drew the girl came from sky with wings like angel.The background was like heaven.

I was thinking about where they can meet again. Maybe there was grey area between heaven and human world. I chose to use night background with cloud.

Because the girl was spirit, I made girl like fragile glass.She only had short time to see my friend.

I did’t want to show characters’ face so I changed angle of view.

Cloud made depth of field but it disturbed boy in middle. Thus, I declined the amount of cloud.

I adjusted color to make it colorful and used snow closed to camera creating sense of space.

I took out wings because whole picture looked like welcoming an angel.
