The theater as organic machine. The innovative roof structure creates comfortable shading for visitors, while also framing views and shielding from afternoon glare. Prevailing winds provide passive cooling. Rain water is collected, stored, and used to reduce freshwater (well water) demand. Solar panels reduce power loads.
