THE COMMUNITY

As always we aim to keep our members busy and as a result lots has happened! We’ve been visited by Blackboys, Dallington and Little Tinkers Schools. We’ve visited Skippers Hill School and Punnetts Town Schools for both their Summer plays. Fantastic for the children to showcase their acting skills - great entertainment for our members! We hosted Hands on History with Dallington School and the children learned about WW2 - our members talked about their own experiences. Can’t recommend Hands on History enough - based in Horam and have artefacts and costumes from so many eras. They’ve been to speak to us about The Victorians, Ancient Egyptians, Saxons and Vikings, Knights and castles - the children and our members find them fascinating. We were fortunate to gain funding from Tesco which has enabled these visits. We close on 28th July for August and reopen on 5th September. Nobody should be lonely! Please make contact if you have a friend or relative who would benefit - it’s a free first session! Kindly sponsored
