Dear Friends of BMW Brand, Both BMW Group and BMW Euro Auto had a wonderful March and first quarter of 2012.

The BMW Group sold more vehicles in March than in any other month in its history and also achieved a growth of 11.2% compared with the first quarter of 2011. In Vietnam particular, BMW Euro Auto gained growth more than 15% in first 3 months of 2012 thanks to the all-new BMW 3 Series, the new BMW 5 series, and opening of BMW Euro Auto My Dinh showroom in Hanoi.

Outstanding results thanks to our attractive, young model range and our strategy of healthy, balanced growth. In the end of March, we were especially proud to introduce our hero, the all-new BMW 3 Series, a car which has just received “Honorable mention” at the Red Dot Award 2012 and was voted “The most beautiful car 2011” in Europe. The all-new BMW 3 Series embodies the new standard of driving pleasure: outstanding sporty design, pure aesthetics and pioneering technologies.

We have just also announced the arrival of the new 5 Series which powered by N20 engine. This is the first time that the four-cylinder engines are fitted with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology which significantly increasing output and driving pleasure while maintaining exceptional fuel efficiency. We aim to continue introducing other new models this year, such as the all-new BMW 320i and the luxurious BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé.

This fall, we will present our BMW product portfolio in the Vietnam Motor Show 2012 in Hanoi. This promises bringing excitement and joy to our important customers in the North.

BMW Euro Auto has just announced the arrival of the BMW 528i powered by the new generation TwinPower Turbo engine. In the new BMW 528i, with modified turbocharging and injection technology, the four-cylinder engine develops maximum power of 245 hp at 5,000 through 6,500 rpm, and peak torque of 350 Nm, which is available between 1,250 and 4,800 rpm. 0 to 100 km/h is accomplished in 6.3 seconds. Top speeds are 250 km/h.

Auto Start/Stop function fitted in the BMW 528i automatically turns off the engine when the driver hits the foot brake pedal. When letting the brake go, the ignition switch on so quickly so that the engine starts automatically.

The BMW 528i is equipped three driving modes (Dynamic Driving Control), including Sport, Comfort and Eco Pro.

When the engine of the BMW 528i operates at speeds of 800 rpm/min, the engine noise is only 75.7 dB. Around 60dB in hood and around 41.7 dB in cockpit.

The BMW 528i is equipped with four independent cooling zones, Dakota leather upholstery, ambient lights and soft close automatic doors.

The BMW 5 Series is voted as “Germany’s Favorite Car”, achieved the “Car of the Year” award, completed both US NCAP, Australia NCAP and the Euro NCAP crash test.

The BMW 528i was available at all BMW showrooms nationwide (price of 2,578 million VND).

BMW Euro Auto đã tổ chức Lễ khai trương Phòng trưng bày BMW Euro Auto Mỹ Đình kết hợp cùng Lễ giới thiệu BMW Series 3 hoàn toàn mới. Tại phía Bắc đã có tổng cộng 02 phòng trưng bày: BMW Euro Auto Yên Phụ (153 Yên Phụ) và BMW Euro Auto Mỹ Đình (18 Phạm Hùng, Mỹ Đình, Từ Liêm).

Phòng trưng bày BMW Euro Auto Mỹ Đình sở hữu cảnh quan thoáng rộng với tổng diện tích lên đến 600m 2, nằm trên trục đường Bắc Thăng Long – Nội Bài. Phòng trưng bày BMW Euro Auto Mỹ Đình được thiết kế & xây dựng theo tiêu chuẩn tập đoàn BMW. Tọa lạc tại vị trí đắc địa, giao thông thuận tiện, gần trung tâm Hà Nội & 20 phút để đi đến sân bay quốc tế. Đây thật sự là nơi lý tưởng để thưởng lãm & trải nghiệm những dòng xe BMW mới nhất.

Theo kế hoạch phát triển từ nay cho đến cuối năm 2012, BMW Euro Auto sẽ tiếp tục khai trương Trung tâm 4S tại Hà Nội, 01 Phòng trưng bày tại Đà Nẵng & 01 xưởng dịch vụ tại TPHCM. TẬP ĐOÀN BMW GIỮ VỮNG NGÔI VỊ VỚI 2 KỶ LỤC DOANH SỐ.

Tập đoàn BMW một lần nữa xác lập 02 thành tích mới vào danh sách kỷ lục của tập đoàn. Số xe bán ra trong tháng 03 vừa qua cao hơn tất cả những tháng từng có trong lịch sử. Tổng cộng 185,728 xe: BMW, MINI và Rolls-Royce đã được bàn giao đến khách hàng, vượt qua doanh số cùng kỳ năm 2011 (165.846 xe / tăng 12%) và đồng thời đạt kỷ lục mới trong quý đầu tiên năm 2012 với con số bán hàng lên đến 425.528 xe (382.763 xe/ 2011), giúp BMW tăng trưởng đến 11,2% so với quý I năm 2011. Ông Ian Robertson, thành viên Hội đồng Quản trị Tập đoàn BMW, phụ trách Kinh doanh và Tiếp thị cho biết: “doanh số trong tháng 3.2012 và quý I 2012 đạt được nhờ vào những dòng xe BMW trẻ trung, hấp dẫn và chiến lược phát triển bền vững của BMW trên toàn cầu. Chúng tôi mong muốn sự tăng trưởng khả quan này sẽ còn tiếp diễn khi những dòng xe hoàn toàn mới như BMW Series 6 Gran Coupé hay BMW Series 7 được giới thiệu đến khách hàng trong năm nay. BMW GROUP SALES REACH ALL-TIME HIGH IN MARCH. The BMW Group sold more vehicles in March than in any other month in its history. The company sold a total of 185.728 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles in the past month, not only significantly exceeding the figure for March of last year (165,846 units / +12%) but also the previous sales high of 165,855 vehicles recorded in June 2011. The company also achieved a new high for the first three months: Retail volumes for the year to the end of March increased by more than 40,000 vehicles to 425,528 units (prev. yr. 382,763 units), which represents a growth of 11.2% compared with the first quarter of 2011.

These outstanding results are due to our attractive, young model range and our strategy of healthy, balanced growth across the globe. BMW i8 SPYDER RA MẮT TẠI TRIỄN LÃM BẮC KINH 2012. Đây cũng là lần đầu tiên chiếc BMW i8 Spyder phiên bản concept chính thức ra mắt người hâm mộ BMW trên toàn Thế giới tại triển lãm xe hơi Bắc Kinh 2012 (diễn ra từ 23.04 đến 02.05.2012) với biểu tượng đặc trưng eDrive được gắn ở đuôi xe. 2012 BEIJING AUTO SHOW: BMW i8 SPYDER CONCEPT. The BMW i8 Concept Spyder is celebrating its world premiere at the Auto China 2012 in Beijing (23 April – 2 May 2012) and the rear-end of the car clearly bears the eDrive emblem for the new technology. In future, the designation eDrive will identify the drive technology for all electric and plug-in hybrid cars from BMW i.

BMW eDrive comprises the components of the electric drivetrain: the electric motor developed in-house by BMW, the lithium-ion battery, and finally the intelligent motor management system.

The future will see BMW eDrive technology empowering all electric drives – electric and plug-in vehicles from BMW i – giving them the capability for being particularly dynamic and smart.

Thế hệ đầu tiên (1975 – 1981): Khai sinh một huyền thoại.

Thế hệ thứ 2 (1982 – 1990): “Gia đình” series 3 được ra đời.

Thế hệ thứ 3 (1990 – 1998): Kẻ thống trị thập niên 90

Thế hệ thứ 4 (1998): Vươn tới sự hoàn hảo.

Giới thiệu BMW 3 Series thế hệ đầu tiên vào tháng 07/1975, BMW mở ra một chương mới trong lịch sử ngành công nghiệp xe hơi hiện đại. Ngay từ được ra mắt đã tạo nên sự khác biệt với thiết kế lưới tản nhiệt đặc trưng và hệ thống treo McPherson.

BMW 3 Series thế hệ đầu tiên, bao gồm các model 316, 318, 320 và 320i.

Không chỉ kế thừa những ưu điểm của thế hệ đầu tiên, BMW 3 Series thế hệ thứ 2 còn cho thấy sự tiên tiến trong mọi khía cạnh và kết quả là 2,3 triệu chiếc đã được bán ra thị trường. BMW 3 Series thế hệ thứ 2 có rất nhiều phiên bản: hai cửa, bốn cửa, 4 hoặc 6 xi-lanh, sedan hoặc mui rời, thậm chí có cả touring.

1975–1983: The first generation is a winner.

1982–1993: The 3 Series grows into a family.

1990–1997: The third generation defines the 90s.

1998–2005: The fourth generation followed familiar values.

The E21 was produced in 1977.

At the E21’s release, three models were available: 316 (1.6-litre), 318 (1.8-litre) and 320 (2.0-litre) versions. With short overhangs and a track width of 1,364 millimetres at the front, the new sports sedan boasts a rather low-slung appearance. Vertically mounted indicators flank the large round headlights on each side. On the occasion of its presentation, BMW gives the new model best chances of success.

In 1982, the second generation of the BMW 3 Series presents itself as a worthy successor. As a result of a sensitively enhanced design and optimised aerodynamics, the new model has gained significantly in presence. The approx.

35 mm increase in track width also contributes towards the sedan’s distinctively powerful look.

The E36 was introduced in 1990.

The time had apparently come to replace the soberly designed BMW 3 Series with an exceedingly elegant successor model.

It is an entirely newly conceived sports sedan, the dimensions of which have increased all round, both surprising and pleasing the public to an equal extent.

When the fourth generation of the BMW 3 Series is launched in May 1998, the compact sports sedan is some 40 mm wider and even the track width has increased by 60 mm compared with its predecessor. The double kidney grille is integrated into the bonnet and, together with the dual round headlights located behind clear glass covers, again shapes the powerful character of the new BMW 3 Series’ face.The record year for the E46 was 2002, when 561,249 vehicles were sold worldwide.

The sixth and current generation of the BMW 3 Series debuted on October 14, 2011 in Munich.

The 2012 3 Series is powered by a new family of aluminum fourcylinder petrol engines ranging from 135 to 245 horsepower.

These will include new technologies such as variable intake and exhaust-valve timing, sequential turbochargers, and direct fuel injection.

2005 WORLDWIDE.

Although more than 37 years lie between the first generation of 1975 and the current BMW 3 Series, both front ends attest to an unmistakable brand identity and, in spite of the great difference in age, are both immediately recognisable as members of the same family. Then as now, the design bestows the BMW sedan with its styling and personality, expressing contemporary and trendsetting dynamics, innovation and aesthetics. Hence, each generation of the compact sports sedan stands for BMW tradition and modernity alike.

And each model combines classic and innovative elements that interpret this theme in their very own way.
