It was another entertaining game on Saturday, against a side with some experienced non league players.

I thought we started the game very well and controlled the first 45 minutes The boys showed how eager they were to carry on our run and stuck to the game plan I thought we were unlucky not to be 2/3 up after the two goals were ruled offside

We needed to carry this on into the second half but Tower Hamlets come out and gave it a good go After their goal, we weathered the storm and remained hard to break down

The winning mentality we mentioned last week then kicked in and helped us grow back into the game. The lads showed great character and stuck together when they really needed to

It has been nice this week to welcome Kyle Linzell (who retired last season), back into the set up as a coach/sub. We also welcomed Tom Stephens back over to assist with some pre match duties and get involved in a light warm up as part of his rehab

It was also really good to see some old Hutton faces in the crowd. Nick Outen and James Welphdale were a part of the promotion team that put Hutton back into the Olympian Premier Hopefully we will see more of that side come over to support throughout the season

Finally, congratulations to Stephen on making his competitive debut for us at the age of 17 He signed for us from Heybridge swifts u18s and made a good impact when he come on
