D O O W S N O N N CA CLUB HISTORY Cannons Wood Football Club is a non league club based in Harlow, England. They currently compete in the Eastern Counties League Division One South and play at Parkside Stadium, Aveley. The club was formed as DTFC in 2019 by AFTV contributor Liam Goodenough, entering the Essex Alliance League. In January 2022, after promotion to Step 6, they applied to the FA to rebrand. Later that year, they were admitted into the Eastern Counties League Division One South under their new name, Cannons Wood - inspired by the nearby Canons Brook estate. In 2020, the club entered a groundshare with Harlow Town at the Harlow Arena. After Harlow Town suspended football operations in 2022, Cannons Wood played home fixtures at Goffs Lane, Cheshunt, formerly home to Broxbourne Borough. In March 2023, it was confirmed they would groundshare with Aveley at Parkside for the 2023-24 season.
N O T T U H B U L C L L A B T O O F Hutton Football Club is an FA Charter Standard Community Football Club. Being part of our community is important to the Club. We expect everyone connected with the Club to be respectful, disciplined and responsible. Our young players will learn the game in a positive environment. Hutton FC is a Club, a team, a family not individuals. HUTTON FC HISTORY The club was founded in 1928 and has been prominent in local football since that time with cup winner’s medals dating back to 1932. A key factor in the continued success of Hutton Football Club is the progression of young, local players. The senior teams played in the Mid Essex League until 1989 when progression was made into the Essex Intermediate, now the Essex Olympian League. The Club expanded rapidly after 2005 with the merger of Hutton FC and Hutton Medway FC (established in 1969). The Club now has 70 teams based in our local community. The current club house has been at the Polo Fields for over 50 years, two previous buildings being destroyed by fire, and the second one having been struck by lightning. In 2010, the Clubhouse was vandalised and set on fire but has now been repaired and enhanced thanks to a large grant from Sport England. Recent history has seen more rapid developments at the club. The Football Association awarded Hutton FC with Charter Standard Community status which is the highest accreditation a club can achieve. In 2005, when the award was granted, there were only nine clubs in the whole of Essex with this status. The Club is very proud to have been awarded Community Club of the year twice by Essex County FA. The club has been encouraging girls to come and play for a number of years, and in 2005 the first official Hutton girls’ team was formed and since then, our Ladies 1st and reserve teams have been added to help with progression. The Club has been involved in a European Tournament played against professional clubs' youth teams, with outstanding facilities. The Clubs are; Saint Ingbert (Germany), Rumelange (Luxembourg) and Zandhoven (Belgium). The tournament celebrates its 50th year in 2025. Our senior men’s 1st team won the EOFL premier division 2022/23 season gaining promotion to the NLS, playing in the Thurlow Nunn League South. THE ROSEY REPORT
MATT ROSE, FIRST TEAM MANAGER Afternoon all, I hope everyone had a great Christmas. As always, it’s good to be back at New Lodge with another big game ahead of us. Coming off the back of two really positive results, the lads have been working hard in training and showing fantastic commitment and real togetherness. The focus today is maintaining that intensity and continuing our momentum. Today we welcome Cannons Wood a well organised and competitive side with lots of quality who will provide a real challenge. We know they’ll test us, but I have full confidence in the group to get a positive result. Thank you once again for the incredible support throughout the year — it really does mean a lot to everyone involved at the club. Let’s get right behind the lads and finish the year strongly with a win. Up The Tons Rosey
