Ensure the ram is fully retracted and not connected to an oil supply Remove the roll pin and pivot pin from the ram base clevis (red arrow) Remove hose block (white arrow) Lift torque arm up, free of the ram

Take note how the hoses are run and tied Remove all hoses from the bale feeder Remove adapters from the ram (red arrows) Leave the adapters on the motor

Fit the valve in place, ensure the U-bolt doesn't interfer with the latch hooks Fit the adapters to the valve

Fit and tighten the restricted adapters to the ram, they have 1.2 marked on the side The dowty seal fits between the ram port and the adapter

Attach the 2 long 1/4" hoses to the valve ram ports, run them down through the motor guard and attach the ram base hose

Cable tie the hoses together near the ram pivot pin, ensure they're the same length Attach the other hose to the ram spear port

Tighten the ram hoses with the looped hose angled out away from the machine at the top as shown

Lower the torque arm and refit the ram pin Tap the roll pin in place Cable tie the hoses to the torque arm Hoses should hang 100mm below motor guard, fit hose block in place

Fit the motor hoses to the valve Attach the other end to the motor, ensure

Fit the last 2 hoses to the valve Attach quick couplers to the other end

Attach to 12v power and oil supply Slowly extend the ram checking the hoses are not getting pinched, run the ram in and out a couple of times checking the hoses
