Collection Concept
Focusing on key notions of everyday luxury, the concept is a carefully edited selection of styles that make up a perfect foundation for the modern wardrobe and cover all daily needs of an active, multifaceted woman. Each garment is made using the highest quality fabric sourced exclusively from responsible, traceable origins and deadstock archive at historical family-owned textile mill Angelo Vasino S.p.A. in Chieri, Italy.
There is a particular beauty in the nostalgic visual imagery of Vietnamese street vendors in their day-to-day life: conical hats, honeycomb sandals, oversized shirts as jackets and transparent disposable rain ponchos.
The simplicity and practicality of these mundane working clothes unexpectedly relate to the Norwegian non-fussy, form-follows-function attitude to dressing for nature. This dialogue between the two seemingly different cultures is further complimented by influences from vintage sportswear and workwear. The idea of ease and relaxed fit rooted in soft tailoring helps to illustrate the attitude and silhouette of the collection. Both sculptural and linear in design, the overarching intention is to create fluid and elongated silhouettes while shaping the body in a loose and free way.

Design Research Stories
The design research is organised into 12 different stories – interlinked to form a single cohesive storyline that references all relevant ideas and details for the collection. They are all visually and conceptually combined and incorporated into one another for a rich cross-pollination of elements in design development.
While not every single story is visibly worked into the final designs, its essence is very much embodied in the overall look and feel.

Colour Palette
Subtle, pared-back and natural shades extracted from nature are inherent to the collection and tell a poetic story of the distinct sensibility in which it is rooted. The various muted tones found within the moods of Vietnam and Norway provide inspiration for the collection.
Beginning with a subdued honey beige, the colour palette gradually progresses in a gradient as stronger colours are incorporated, such as dove grey with the addition of checks and stripes.

Fabrication ranges from the structured to the fluid, with an emphasis on technical qualities.
Design Development
Building on vintage and classic wardrobe staples as a base, combining a timeless perspective with subtle attitudes and evolving high-performance functionality to form contemporary signatures. Exploring the strength of simplistic shapes and focusing on exceptional fabrics, impeccable details and precise tailoring that speak to a well-developed sense of aesthetics and cultural complexities.

A timeless capsule collection rich in influences, designed for everyday wear and eminently modular – the supple silhouettes and soft colour palette allow all the pieces to be paired effortlessly with each other and (re)styled in many ways.
