MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Garry Packer

Garry began his career in real estate in August 1989, and a year later, became Rookie of the Year for his real estate company at the time - a top honor for a new sales professional. Since then, he has sold hundreds of homes throughout the Capital District and is a multi-million dollar producer.

It is Garry’s goal to do everything he can to work with his clients and ensure their success, whether in buying or selling a home. His favorite example is when he dressed as Abe Lincoln at his own open house to sell a 150 year old farmhouse. The property ended up getting additional marketing exposure on the local Channel 6 news broadcast, where reporters picked up the story of this unique technique to sell a home.

A resident of Glenville since 1985, Garry lives with his wife, Patti. In addition to being a real estate professional, Garry is a certified graphologist, also known as a handwriting specialist. Garry is also active in the community as a Glenville Rotarian, an ambassador for the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce, and as a volunteer in playing piano at local nursing homes. He is one of the three founders and board members of the Capital Region Veteran Park, a unique park covering 11 counties in upstate NY that has a memorial, café, historical museum, and facility to help veterans with employment and other needs.
