WHO WE ARE HOUSTON SAFARI CLUB FOUNDATION Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the sport of hunting through education, conservation, and the promotion of our hunting heritage. HSCF proudly provides one of the largest scholarship programs of its kind. Annually, HSCF provides twenty-five (25) scholarships in the amount of $6,000.00 each. To date, 638 scholarships have been awarded, totaling $2,778,500. We annually host 200 area high school students for a day of career introductions to outdoor-related professions, at our annual convention. In addition, we host almost 100 students for hunting and fishing experiences each year. HSCF has provided over $4 million in grants to support conservation, anti-poaching, hunters’ rights, youth education, hunter education and more. Our members come from a diverse background and have a wide variety of hunting, fishing, outdoor and other interests. They have a passion for the outdoors, a love of hunting, a commitment to the responsible management of our national resources, the education of future generations and the responsibilities of being hunter-

HSC collaborates with legislators, key opinion leaders, policy groups, professional organizations and governments at home and abroad. When bidding from the floor, raise your hand high or bid paddle and, if necessary, stand to get the attention of the auctioneer or one of his spotters. The auctioneer and his staff are responsible for the auction. Their rules must be followed explicitly. All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. The auctioneer and staff will decide on any disputes regarding the bids during the live auction. Asking questions ahead of time is encouraged. speak with the donor, visit their booth (if they are an exhibitor) and check their references. HSCF supports and promotes hunts and trips from donors who are members in good standing with their local and national hunting associations. Some items, as components of donated hunts, may or may not be included unless specified. This may pertain to travel expenses to and from the destination; hotel and meals before and after the hunt; alcoholic beverages; trophy dipping, packaging, and shipping; gratuities and other items. Please review the details for each auction item. Most hunt donations, unless otherwise specified, are for the 2023 season. All trips, unless otherwise specified, expire on January 31, 2023. Special arrangements other than as set forth in the auction description are expressly between the donor and the auction winner. Some non-hunt donations may require delivery and installation at your expense. It is the bidder’s responsibility to read the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability for Goods & Services. By bidding on any auction item, whether in person or online, the bidder agrees that they have read, understand, and agree to the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability.

Method of Payment: Cash, Check, or Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover) All hunts must be paid in full prior to being taken. All merchandise must be paid in full prior to taking possession. Any firearms that may be included in auctions or contests are subject to all state and federal laws. Transactions for these items will be managed by an approved FFL provider. The FFL provider information will be provided to the winning bidder for completion of transfer. Winners are responsible for all costs of shipping and FFL transfer fees.

Raffle
You must be a minimum of 18 years of age to purchase a raffle ticket or win a prize. All winners will be announced at the conclusion of the event and will also be notified by phone and/or email. Winners are expected to take possession of all items at the conclusion of the event, except for firearms. Prize(s) not claimed within 90 days of notification will be returned to the control of HSCF, excluding firearms. All firearms are subject to all state and federal laws. Transactions for these items will be handled by an approved FFL provider. FFLprovider information will be provided to the winning bidder for completion of transfer. Winners are responsible for all costs of shipping and FFL transfer fees. If a winner is unable to pass a BATFE background check, the firearm will be forfeited, and a new winner will be randomly drawn. Firearm prizes are non-transferable. The Labrador Retriever is one of America’s most popular dog breeds. For hunters, the family-friendliness and “work hard, play hard” attitude of a lab makes it an ideal sporting pup. A natural retriever, they can be trained to hunt upland birds and do it with panache. But they really shine in the duck blind. The father of this puppy is Hank’s best dog (SUNDAY MORNING). He is an AKC Master level hunter, a UKC Hunting Retrievers Champion, an SRS (Super Retriever Series) medal winner, a Field Trial Qualified All Age champion, and a certified Disability Service Dog. This is a 10-day, 2x1 guided hunt for nyala bull, impala ram and a warthog or steenbuck or duiker. The method of hunt is bow and crossbow. Schedule this hunt for open dates with outfitter in 2024.
