The Co-op Media

The Co-op is an agricultural co-operative in South Africa and was establishment in 1944. It provides support to all farming disciplines including dairy, citrus, deciduous fruit, livestock and grain farmers throughout South Africa with more than 34 commercial trading branches and 17 depots within The Group. The Head Office is based in Humansdorp, Eastern Cape. The Co-op employs expert technical staff, including agronomists, agricultural economists, irrigation technicians and horticulturists that in turn provide a support service to producers. These expert services, as well as veterinarian services, are made available to farmers to enhance the production capacity of their businesses. Other specialised departments include: Seeds, Crop Protection, Soil Supplements, Agricultural Netting, Alternative Energy, Irrigation, Fuel Outlets, Outdoor & Adventure, Animal Feed and Grain Silos.
