Nik Harris (they/them), is a queer, gender non-conforming attorney, activist, and speaker. A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Nik obtained their undergraduate degree from Florida A&M University and law degree from Florida State University. Nik was the first LGBTQ Director to a member of Cabinet in the State of Florida and currently serves as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and DEIB for the Human Rights Campaign. They co-founded the open mic event series Thou Art Woman and the non-profit BLINC with G Wright. Nik is the recipient of several awards and is an award-winning Toastmaster who speaks across the country in support of equality. They serve on boards that are near to their heart and conducts training on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
