Welcome to the second Asia Recruitment Awards. After a successful inauguration last year, the awards – which highlight the excellent work and recruitment achievements of in-house talent acquisition teams and recruiters – are returning for a second year with almost double the number of entries.

Brought to you by Human Resources magazine, the award ceremony presents a unique opportunity for recruiters to make their mark.

2016 is set to be a challenging year for recruiters. With a slowed global economy, many organisations are putting on a hiring freeze or have become less aggressive in terms of demand for talent.

The good thing is that challenges come with opportunities, and despite a gloomy job market, several reports have pointed out that employees are still looking to switch jobs.

In fact, two out of three Hongkongers are likely or very likely to change jobs in the next 12 months, according to findings from recent job market reports.

The awards, to be held annually, include 23 categories which are judged by a panel of senior HR practitioners from the largest organisations in Asia.
