Over 2 billion people are food insecure, and malnutrition remains one of the greatest threats to human life, despite the world producing more than enough food for everyone. Humaniti and our partners are tackling the global food crisis with a unique set of solutions to improve food security worldwide.
Delivering immediate comfort and nourishment
Food packs
Weeks or months’ worth of nutritious food supplies including meat and vegetables
Ramadan meals
Nourishing families through the holy month with Iftar meals
Providing thousands of food items for years to come
School meal programs
Providing schools with daily meals for up to a year or more.

Nutritious food provides essential shortterm and long-term benefits.
In the short term, it prevents hunger, boosts energy, and strengthens immunity. Children focus better in school, and adults stay productive.
Long term, it supports growth, reduces chronic disease risk, and enhances cognitive function. This leads to better education, economic opportunities, and healthier communities, breaking the cycle of poverty.

Every human being has the right to expand their mind and explore their potential yet 250 million children are out of school for reasons beyond their control. Humaniti and our partners are collaborating in different ways to keep schools running and kids learning worldwide.
Providing children in need with essential tools to thrive in class.
Supporting students with self-care items to feel strong and prepared for the school year.
Providing a range of music lessons and art classes to empower children in need
Inclusive workshops for children with unique sensory and communication needs.

Education benefits people immediately by improving knowledge, skills, and job opportunities. It boosts confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Long-term, it leads to higher income, better health, and economic stability. Education also empowers communities, reduces poverty, and fosters innovation, creating a more prosperous and informed society for future generations.

Access to reliable healthcare should not be an impossible luxury, but it is for 50% of the world’s population. Humaniti and our partners are strategizing unique solutions to maximize our impact on populations struggling without healthcare.
Provided healthcare for children affected by war, complex medical conditions, and disabilities.
Helped families identify and understand their children’s mental health and therapy needs.
Provided children with therapy sessions based on their individual needs.
Administered trauma support and therapy sessions for women, children and families.
Enabled families to secure ongoing mental health services for their children.
Reduced stress and brought joy through toys, games, and art activities.
Distributed coats to children in need during the cold winter months.

Access to healthcare immediately improves lives by treating illnesses, reducing suffering, and preventing disease. It lowers mortality rates and boosts productivity.
Over time, it supports healthier communities, enhances child development, and prevents chronic conditions.
With reliable healthcare, people live longer, pursue education and work, and break cycles of poverty and poor health.

Roughly 80% of the world’s single-parent households are led by women, and it’s one of the most demanding roles on earth. Humaniti’s programs support single-parent households with a range of services designed to uplift those who are bearing it all on their shoulders.
Emotional support
Empowered sole providers through mental health services, counselling, and therapy sessions.
Coaching and wellness programs
Provided guidance for reducing stress, improving confidence and strengthening family relationships.
Resource connections
Connected single parents to housing support, employment opportunities and financial aid.
Supported single-parent households with basic necessities, self-care items and school supplies.

Even the simplest forms of care can be transformative for single parents who are juggling so much responsibility.
By providing emotional support, financial assistance, and well-being initiatives, we enable them to feel stronger and more capable of handling life’s challenges.
Caring for single parents not only relieves the burden for these sole providers but also changes the future for their children and strengthens communities as a whole.

To my fellow humanitarians,
I’m filled with gratitude when I look back on all of the support you helped us deliver in 2024, in Canada alone! This beautiful country is where it all started for Humaniti, only a handful of years ago, and the number of lives we’ve been able to touch is truly humbling.
We delivered hot meals and nutritional support to individuals and families struggling to put food on the table. We showed up for so many heroic single parents with basic necessities, mental health services and care packages that showed them they’re not alone. We provided children and families with special healthcare needs a range of support when they thought all hope was lost. And we empowered young minds with school supplies and educational opportunities to stay in school and feel hopeful for a brighter future full of potential.
None of this would be possible without our local partners working tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of Canadians in need, or through the simple, yet life-changing, efforts made every day by generous donors like you.
Our promise to impact a billion lives isn’t just lip service. We’re determined to make a historic impact on human suffering, and your contributions are essential to our progress towards that goal.
Beyond Canada’s borders, our mission continues to grow. Together, we’ve reached over 465,000 people across Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Palestine, Pakistan, Somalia, and Yemen —providing food, water, shelter, healthcare, livelihoods, and care for orphans. Every one of those lives represents a story of hope restored and dignity renewed.
Thank you again for making our programs in Canada such a success in 2024. We’re already on our way to impacting even more Canadians—and global communities—in 2025.
From the bottom of my heart, I extend my deepest gratitude for your continued support of our mission.
Sincerely,

M. Firaaz Azeez
