Hued Songs has been growing, not just in size, but in depth, in community, and in impact. What began as one stage, one show, one moment of belonging has expanded into a full season of mainstage productions, a performance residency at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center, and a permanent home of our own at The Daisy Arts Center in Fort Lauderdale.
Each year, we reach 2,000+ residents, visitors, and young people through 20+ experiences that center Black joy, Black creativity, and Black belonging. To date, $500K and counting has gone directly into the pockets of BIPOC artists through performance opportunities across South Florida and beyond The work keeps growing, and so does the community around it And we're just getting started.
We envision a future with year-round programming anchored by The Daisy Arts Center, digital works, commissioned pieces, new partnerships, and a growing team, all working toward one goal: to shape the world we want to live in through powerful, communitycentered experiences That work matters now more than ever And we'd love for you to be part of it
