About Me I am Huda AlMadhoob, a graphic designer and illustrator. My passion is always related to art and design, and I never stop learning new things to improve my skills. Some of my interests outside of design include crochet, reading, storytelling and solving puzzles. Even though I never thought that design will one day be my major, it has always been one of my hobbies without me realizing it. I have been designing ever since I was a child, in my own way. It has been a part of everything I did, every thought I had and every line I drew.

Finding a way to connect parent with their 2-5 years old children through play. Being educational and fun at the same time.
Solution
A small gift from parents to their children. For the little extra minutes they will spend with their 2 to 5 year olds, LAN-YUP is a kit that will allow parents and children to spend play time together.
Big square cards card that contain images of the 6 animals in the puzzle.
A puzzle that contain 4 cubes and finish the puzzle of six animals.

EQUIPMENT Game board, 1 pawn each, 1 dice
HOW TO PLAY Players move around the board hoping not to slide in the honey, but getting to climb up a fower. First player to land on the ‘queen bee’ hundred in square by exact count wins. Each player moves his/her pawn according to the number thrown on the dice. If the pawn lands on a square with the foot of a fower, the player may move the pawn to the top of the fower. If the pawn lands on the honey jar, the pawn slides down to the square at the end of the honey.
Horse puppet. Other puppets avaliable are: fox and Parrot.
LAN-YUP means a small gift or a little something extra. It is a gift from Parents to their children for the little extra minutes they spend together in playtime, allowing for the exploration of the animal world in a fun and educational way. The Kit is easy to use, holds things in an organized way and sized in for convenient storage or use in the child’s room as furniture. not very large in size. It could also be used in the child’s room as furniture.

Solution
Learn Crochet, is a simple way for beginners to learn the art of crochet, through step by step instructions of the basic building blocks of crochet: granny squares, and how they could be used to create things like a new born baby’s shoes.

Stitch is a brand inspired by the feel of nature. From the fabrics and it uses to the thread, the brand evokes a sense of clean natural simplicity.

The Hive Bahrain is a community collaborative technology open-workspace, based in Bahrain, where you learn, make and share your ideas and project, making creativity a way of life.

Redesign a high resolution version of Cafe Pistachio’s logo, and create brand guidelines.
Solution
I was given a pixilated logo and was asked to create a brand for “Cafe Pistachio”, a coffee shop based in Bahrain

Create a coffee cup holder for any specific target.
Solution
Children were selected a the targeted audience, and a cup holder concept shaped in the form of animals, was seen as the best choice, since children are always drain towards anything related to animals.

The card game concepts was inspired by an animal game from my childhood that I had lost, and was not able to find a replacement for. I created my own version of it. Changing the theme from animals to careers. I choose to create it in Arabic, since Arabic games are becoming limited now a days and over showed by games in English language.

We created a website for the Alumni Club using adobe muse. As well as a logo concept for thier brand, while meeting Bahrain Polytechnic brand guidelines.

I choose The three Musketeers (1993), and created a concept that was influenced by William Morris and the Arts & Crafts movement.
