Denva. Our general purpose acrylic packaging tape, Denva Tape (in either clear or buff) is the trusted standard for packaging tape users.

E-Tape. Available in clear and buff (brown), a key feature of E-Tape is the small core and big roll length - up to 150 metres - nearly three times the amount of tape per roll compared with standard packaging tape! This means fewer roll changes for you when used with one of our E-Tape silent dispensers.

V-Pro. V-Pro is a premium range of vinyl (PVC) tape for heavy duty applications. The tape has a solvent adhesive which gives you excellent adhesive power. It is resistant to humidity and temperature changes and can therefore be used for refrigerated products.

Texus. Polypropylene tape with hotmelt adhesive.

Gummed Paper Tape Water activated plain and reinforced gummed paper tape from Hub Packaging is environmentally friendly as the product is paper-based and 100% recyclable.

This type of tape is strong, reliable and resistant to humidity and temperature changes.

As the tape forms a material bond with the carton once it is applied, it provides a tamper evident seal. Any attempt to open will result in obvious damage to the carton.

Hub Packaging ‘Polly Protect’ We produce our own “Polly Protect” range of polythene pallet top sheets and gusseted pallet hoods.

Supplied on rolls these sheets protect the top of your pallets from dirt and moisture during storage or transportation.

Shrink Films Heat Shrink Packaging Heat shrink wrap is a plastic film wrapped around your product and heated with a heat shrink gun (such as Ripack®) or shrink machine. This causes the film to shrink tightly around your item. Heat shrink packaging has several applications from protecting your items in transit, to slick point of sale packaging, to securing your irregular pallet loads.

Centre Folded PVC (Polyvinyl) Shrink Films These are designed to protect and enhance the sales presentation of your goods such as CD’s, DVD’s, games and stationery items.

PVC (polyvinyl) shrinks at approx 80°C and retracts by 50%.

Available in multiple sizes ranging from 19 micron to 25 micron.

Alternatively, we stock polyolefin (POF) shrink film which has a high puncture resistance because of its incredible strength. Polyolefin (POF) shrink films would be recommended for wrapping any odd-shaped products you may have.

3. Strapping

Strapping The use of strapping around - either your own products or the packaging that’s being used to protect them is widely used in industrial and warehouse applications.

Our variety of strapping products and related tools and accessories is an essential category for many customers.

Types of strapping we sell: POLYPROPYLENE: the most popular choice of all the strapping material available. Straps and secures pallet, crates, or for bundling heavy items.

POLYESTER: one of the strongest forms of strapping in the market, for very heavy duty applications. Can be secured with hand tools or automated strapping machines.

WOVEN: as strong as steel but six times lighter. Features higher elongation and shock absorption properties.

STEEL: first choice strapping material for the building and construction Industry and ideally suited for sharp edged or protruding products. Applied by using our range of hand tools.

BALE: bale strapping is the ideal solution when compacting bales or awkward loads. It is a strong safe material that is simply hand tied or used in a bailer or waste compactor.

CORDED: high strength corded strapping. High breaking strain and perfect solution for heavy duty applications of all shapes and sizes.

Strapping Kits For each strapping type, we supply a variety of tools and consumables including trolleys, buckles, seals, tensioners and sealers.

If you’re new to strapping we even provide a plastic (polypropylene) budget starter kit which has everything that you need.

Corner and Edge Protection Corner and edge protectors come in an array of shapes and sizes enabling you to shield the edges of any product no matter how large or small.

We stock edge protectors suitable for glass or metal sheets, as well as corners for furniture, picture frames and mirrors. Corner protection can be used inside or outside boxes.

Silica Gel and Desiccants These pouches absorb unwanted moisture in and around your goods to effectively prolong and prevent rust, mildew, and corrosion.

The addition of a desiccant or silica gel to your packages, such as electrical goods, clothing, and optical equipment, can help maintain the quality in transit or storage. We stock a range of sachet sizes to suit various product dimensions and they are fully home compostable.

Loose Fill When transporting items that do not quite fill the box in which they are placed, using void fill chips can protect against potential damage.

Our BioFil loose fill is not only constructed from maize based starch but is also compostable and 100% biodegradable, meaning it is environmentally friendly too. Even better; our void fill packaging solution has been proven to be a popular choice for customers mindful of environmental consideration when choosing their packaging products. 4. Protective

Hub Packaging Air Pillow Void Fill Air pillows are the modern-day replacement for bubble wrap and you get a lot more fill for the same amount of plastic in a product that typically takes up less space to ship and store than a shoe box.

Before use, the film is supplied on a small, compact roll that needs very little storage space, massively reducing the carbon footprint of transport compared with bubble wrap.

When inflated, the film creates a continuous, perforated roll of pillows used to fill gaps between contents, or quilting for lining cartons and layering.

After use, it’s easily punctured and compacted for recycling - or in the case of our Biofilm, for home composting.

Hub Packaging Biofilm Air Pillows Hub Packaging biofilm is made from natural by-products of the potato processing industry - sustainable use of material that would otherwise go to waste.

In use, it performs equally as well as plastic air pillow but when you mix it into your compost heap at home it very quickly disintegrates into tiny particles and within six months, all that’s left of it is water, carbon dioxide and a few harmless minerals.

5. Machines & Tools Case Tapers / Sealers Hub Packaging supply fixed and random size case tapers for for high volume sealing of the top and bottom of your cartons.

We can also design and supply infeed and outfeed conveyor rollers designed specifically to work with your packaging equipment.

Ripack® Gas Heat Shrink System Ripack® is a premium brand of heat shrink gun system designed to shrink the polythene cover or sheet tightly around the your pallet load for protection and stability.

Powered by propane gas, Ripack® gas heat shrink guns are ergonomic, lightweight, safe and easy to use. We stock the Ripack® 2200 gas heat shrink gun and can supply the 3000 series system on request. Paper Sheets & Rolls We stock a vast range of paper sheets and rolls for all your wrapping and packing needs. Manufactured from the highest quality materials we can supply papers for wrapping, padding, protecting, void filling and presentation needs.

We offer a complete range of kraft paper rolls and sheets. Pure kraft paper rolls are a high quality, all purpose packaging material. Made from 100% virgin paper from sustainable forestry sources this 70gsm or 90gsm brown kraft paper is suitable for medium to heavy duty use, and approved by the Post Office for sending items through the mail.

For an environmentally friendly packing solution, consider recycled paper rolls in a choice of 70gsm or 80gsm. Made from 100% recycled paper, our recycled paper rolls are fully recyclable after use. Ribbed brown kraft paper is also available in sheets, perfect for shops and packaging counters. Made from 70gsm paper, our 100% recycled brown kraft paper sheets are available in packs of 50 or 250 sheets.

We also stock speciality kraft papers. Waxed kraft paper is suitable for wrapping oily or greasy components that may be at risk of corrosion.

Cardboard ‘L’ Shaped Edge Boards Cardboard edge protectors are frequently used to stabilise, reinforce and protect pallet loads during storage and transit. Edge protectors brace and further protect palletised goods from strapping and or shrink wrap. They can also be used to further strengthen the edges of cardboard boxes, either inside or outside the box.

Manufactured from compressed recycled cardboard, cardboard edges can be used time and time again and then recycled when they are past their best.

Corrugated Corner Protectors Corrugated corner protectors are a cost-effective and eco-friendly form of corner protection for use with stretch wrap, shrink film, or light strapping.

Taping & Sealing How do you secure your boxed products – are you still using plastic tapes, which slowly (if ever) biodegrade and have to be segregated from waste card before recycling?

Here’s a few options to consider:

Hub Packaging Water Activated Tape Hub Packaging water activated tape is the ultimate eco-friendly case taping method. Made from natural kraft paper carrier and starch adhesive it’s 100% sustainable, 100% biodegradable and 100% recyclable without having to be segregated from cardboard.

Water activated tape protects your contents better than any other carton seal It’s the most effective way to securely seal a carton, giving the highest level of permanent adhesion, high burst strength and tamper-evidence. This gives Hub Packaging water activated tape an additional eco-advantage – damaged goods will either be returned for repair or replacement (increased carbon footprint) or discarded (extra recycling costs or added landfill).

It’s also proven to be more cost-effective than plastic pressure-sensitive tape in the order fulfilment sector, as less tape is needed for a satisfactory seal. Dispensed in pre-set or programmable lengths, it’s also faster than using a hand tape dispenser.

Hub Packaging water activated tape is available in natural, snow white and oyster kraft and with glassfibre reinforcement strands for enhanced burst resistance. Tape thicknesses range from 60gsm to 90gsm and 125gsm reinforced. Tape widths range from 24mm to 96mm.

Hub Packaging Kraft Paper Eco Tapes If you prefer to use a pressure-sensitive tape but want to stay green, Hub Packaging kraft paper tape with solvent adhesive is your answer as it’s biodegradable. Available in natural kraft, it blends well with brown corrugated card and is less susceptible to creasing than plastic tape, so presentation is excellent.

Supplied in widths ranging from 25mm to 75mm and with a 75mm cardboard core, it’s compatible with pistol grip and bench mounted tape dispensers.

Hub Packaging Masking Tapes Masking tape is used for sealing packages when a temporary hold is needed that doesn’t leave residue when removed.

Hub Packaging masking tapes come on a 75mm cardboard core and in widths ranging from 25mm to 100mm. We stock both general purpose and specialist low-bake ranges.

Hub Packaging Hot Melt Glue Hot melt glue sticks are another way of quickly and securely sealing packages, and with four formulations to choose from, the StickfastTM range has a glue for everyone.

Hot melt glue is particularly good for presentation packaging, where tape would obliterate printed areas, and is also permanent and tamper-evident.

Kraft Paper Void Fill & Padding As we’ve already mentioned, natural kraft paper is a sustainable, recyclable and biodegradable packaging material, and our kraft paper systems, including the Sealed Air® FasFil EZ and ProPAD , quickly convert it from compact paper stacks to high-bulk void fill and padding material.

Hub Packaging Biofilm Air Pillows Hub Packaging biofilm is made from natural by-products of the potato processing industry – sustainable use of material that would otherwise go to waste.

In use, it performs equally as well as plastic air pillow but when you mix it into your compost heap at home it very quickly disintegrates into tiny particles and within six months, all that’s left of it is water, carbon dioxide and a few harmless minerals.

Hub Packaging Air Pillow Void Fill Air pillows are the modern-day replacement for bubble wrap and you get a lot more fill for the same amount of plastic in a product that typically takes up less space than a shoe box!

Before use, the film is contained in a small, compact roll that needs very little storage space and massively reduces the carbon footprint of transport when compared with bubble wrap.

When inflated the film creates a continuous, perforated roll of pillows used to fill gaps between contents, or quilting for lining cartons and layering.
