Our 2024/current product line is based on more than 60 years of experience in making child car seats. Through all these years we've always put children’s safety at the centre of everything we do. On this foundation, with decades of knowledge, heart and pride, we create every single detail in all our products to make sure your children are as safe as possible.
The spirit of adventure and wonder is part of our Norwegian DNA, and it’s at the heart of everything we do at BeSafe. Established in 1963 by the Norwegian Torgersen family and run by the fourth generation of the founders, our BeSafe family shares the same passion: to ensure you and your children can head out into the world, safely
prepared for whatever comes your way. We are dedicated to developing the safest possible car seats for children of all ages.

Our categories
At BeSafe we have both car seats and baby carriers. Our car seats and carriers are divided in stages dependent on the child's age, height and weight.
Please note that the stated age range is just a guideline based on average values and does not limit or guarantee the usage time.
Car seats from birth
When choosing a seat for your newborn, there are two paths you can choose from: either to use an infant carrier from approx. 0-12 months, followed by a toddler seat or to use a 2-in-1 car seat from newborn to approx. 4 or 7 years.
Toddler car seats
If you chose the “classic path” and had an infant carrier before, the toddler car seat is the second car seat for your child. Some seats in this group can be used both rear or forward facing.
Child car seats
This is the car seat that your child will use for the longest time – from approx. 4 years until 12 years. Using a high back booster seat instead of only a booster cushion ensures that your child is provided with a side impact protection during the whole period of use.
Baby carriers
Our baby carrying category is a relatively new and natural step for us to take with our expertise within safety, comfort and ergonomics. The BeSafe carriers will make your everyday life easier while you get to bond and embrace your love.

High-back booster or a simple booster cushion? Here are our top 3 reasons why you ALWAYS should choose a booster seat with a high backrest for your child:
1. Side impact protection: a high-back booster always adds protection for your child's torso and head against side impacts.
2. Belt positioning: lockable shoulder belt guiders make sure that the shoulder belt is kept at an optimal height for your growing child.
3. Support while sleeping: the headrest and backrest offer comfort when resting or sleeping while ensuring correct belt positioning during nap time.

products for cold days
When it is cold outside, we recommend to use Voksi® Move, a bag with wool and down filling in the baby car seat. The unique design of the back with harness openings ensures easy installation and good adaptation to almost any type of harness. When used in a car seat, Voksi® Move provides the insulation that replaces thick outerwear. In this way, the harness in the car seat can sit closer to the baby’s body. Voksi® Move has been crash tested in combination with BeSafe car seats in the recommended rearward facing position.

During the warmer months of the year, you can use Voksi® Move Light. Voksi® Move Light is a light insulated sleeping bag for use in car seats and prams, which gives the baby weather protection throughout the year. A car seat bag that makes it easier to take your baby on car journeys and can be used from newborn. Voksi Move Light is designed to keep your child warm and comfortable in the car seat as well as in a pram. When you use your car seat in transitions, like on a stroller chassis, this sleeping bag is perfect on both long and short journeys. To get ease of access to you child in a car, we have quick release zippers in the front. Inside, the Voksi® Move Light is made of natural and quality-assured materials. On the outside, the car seat bag is coated with BIONIC-FINISH®ECO, which makes the bag naturally water-repellant
