We know you are also facing new challenges, opportunities, information and misinformation, and threats like never before. With the threat of a second shutdown looming over us, companies will decide to fight through it, continue to struggle, or run in the other direction.

What do we do in such a time as this? It must lead to a rebirth of our Industry and our companies. The economy has survived the depression in the 20s as well as the collapse in 2008, and now we are seeing people and businesses panic or thrive during a time of fear.

It’s all about mindset and the strategies that provide you with guidance to avoid the pitfalls to come out of this and be unstoppable. We truly believe this will be a time where more million-dollar businesses burst out of this stressful season than ever before.

Let’s continue to turn this time into a rebirth of who we are and whom our businesses are becoming.

Once you have completed the list of five or six in each category, break them down into action steps for improvement areas, promotion pieces, new service offerings, conversations with your clients, rebranding, social media, and website language, etc, to begin the rebirth of your company for such a time as this.

Revisiting your SWOT analysis, especially now, is vital to the success of your company. Our Home Staging company, Model My Home, has new strengths such as: providing different types of quotes within 15 minutes, hiring a new Interior Designer, and offering Short-Term Rental services in volume.

We also have new weaknesses. We have changed our CRM system, which has a learning curve, inventory in our warehouse is high which is causing delays, and we are paying for office space that is being unused because we have largely transitioned to remote working.

Now for the new opportunities. We have listed our office space on PeerSpace, and have already earned new money on three rentals. We have also launched our ModelStay company to serve our own Short-Term Rental properties, as well as offer hospitality management for others in the near future. We have strategically partnered with companies that have investors throughout the country, as well as multi-family business owners.

New threats for us continue to be Virtual Staging, less inventory on the market to Stage, fewer vacant properties, and fewer Agents in the business.

These are some of the key points of our SWOT Analysis we face at Model My Home, and I know you are facing some of them as well.

What will a modification or rebirth of your company look like? One thing we cannot control is how the world reacts in crisis, and we will always be able to find it around us. The question is how will we respond?
