The Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture has been researching, developing and connecting for more than 60 years.

Its competencies and agility not only strengthen the Swiss economy, they form the foundation for Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, continuing and executive education courses as well as research with a practical focus.

1,930 students were enrolled in one of the 11 Bachelor’s and 2 Master’s programmes in Engineering and Construction. Women accounted for 23% of the students.

Continuing and executive education programmes in the fields of construction and technology attracted 978 participants.

In 2020, 204 new projects were initiated; the net income from research and development was just under CHF 27 million. External funds were provided, among other sources, by Innosuisse, the Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF, the Federal Government and various EU programmes.
