They (Mother, Father, 2 sisters and 1 younger brother) are currently having difficulty finding an affordable place to live and are experiencing financial troubles. They have also experienced a lot of loss over the years, including the loss of one of their children as the result of complications from a severe car accident. Despite these challenges, the O family remains hopeful, loving, committed to one another, and thankful for all they have. She feels that she and her children have had to sacrifice a lot of the things they would want from their life. She works hard but still finds that sometimes the basic needs of her children and family go unmet. Lucy doesn’t often ask for help, but she would greatly appreciate new clothes and shoes for her children and herself so that they stay dry and warm in the winter.
