The City of Fremont, Age Well Center at South Fremont is excited to announce the center’s first fundraiser, Sip, Sparkle and Roll A casino night filled with fun and games. The new center’s mission is to improve the quality of life for older adults fostering community connection, wellness opportunities, education, and nutritious meals in a fun welcoming environment Proceeds from this event will help keep classes, meals, and membership affordable. Your support combats isolation, poor nutrition, and inactivity.
In 2023, the Age Well Center at South Fremont forged partnerships with over 20 organizations, enhancing its services for older adults. Through this collaboration, the center offered a diverse range of classes including ESL, fall prevention, art, technology, and cooking A total of 1,350 individuals joined the center as members, while volunteers contributed over 7,280 hours to the community, enriching both the center's capabilities and the volunteers' sense of purpose. Additionally, the center served 15,273 meals, providing older adults with valuable opportunities to socialize and enjoy communal dining experiences.
