Each Friday at 9am, meals for the following week go on sale. FROZEN MEALS: 1 set of 5 for $25 (members) | $29 (nonmembers) 1 set per person each week. Pick up on Wednesdays 9:30-11am. No exceptions.

Join City of Fremont, Caregiver Support Program to discover how the human brain evolved into the body’s command center, governing our thoughts, memories, movements, and various physiological functions. We will explore the meaning of “brain health” and empower you to take a proactive approach—through lifestyle choices such as regular exercise, a nutritious diet, maintain peaceful mind and cognitive training, to protect this vital organ, thereby maintaining brain function and reducing the risk of cognitive decline.

Family Caregivers are invited for a free viewing for this documentary and learn ways to improve social relationships, explore why social relationships are critical to our wellbeing and how can we best maintain and nurture them.

CHRONIC PAIN SUPPORT GROUP

BECOME A SENIOR PEER COUNSELING VOLUNTEER!

Do you have a desire to make a meaningful impact in your community? The City of Fremont’s Senior Peer Counseling Program is seeking compassionate volunteers who are 55 or older to support older adults in the Tri-Cities who may be experiencing loneliness, grief, or a difficult life transition.

Senior Peer Counselors provide one-on-one emotional support and build meaningful connections through shared life experience. Volunteers often say how rewarding it is to make a real difference simply by offering a caring and supportive presence.

Have you weathered life’s ups and downs? Join our new Serene Moments Meditation class to explore the many factors that support both physical and mental well-being. This class will begin at the Age Well Center at South Fremont weekly on Thursdays from 10am to 11am in the Conference Room.
