Dear Community Member,
The City of Fremont, Age Well Center at South Fremont is excited to announce the center’s second annual fundraiser, Sip, Sparkle and Roll, a casino night filled with fun and games. The new center’s mission is to improve the quality of life for older adults fostering community connection, wellness opportunities, education, and nutritious meals in a fun welcoming environment. Proceeds from this event will help keep classes, meals, and membership affordable. Your support combats isolation, poor nutrition, and inactivity.
In 2024, the Age Well Center at South Fremont forged partnerships with over 25 organizations, enhancing its services for older adults. Through this collaboration, the center offered a diverse range of classes including yogalates, Full Motion Fitness, art, mahjong, and technology, A total of 1,859 individuals joined the center as members, while volunteers contributed over 5,900 hours to the community, enriching both the center’s capabilities and the volunteers’ sense of purpose. Additionally, the center served 22,027 meals, providing older adults with valuable opportunities to socialize and enjoy communal dining experiences.
