NOVEMBER 2020
THE FREMONT SENIOR CENTER IS NOW THE AGE WELL CENTER AT LAKE ELIZABETH — offering online classes, services, trainings and curbside to go meals! OUR BUILDING IS CURRENTLY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE due to COVID-19 and the Shelter In Place Order issued by the Alameda County Public Health Department.
We look forward to the day we welcome you back inside for classes and services. In the meantime, we wanted to share some exciting things that have been happening. Fremont will have two centers that serve adults 55+ and they will be called Age Well Centers. The Paseo Padre Parkway location is now called Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth and the new center located on Mission Falls Court will be called Age Well Center at South Fremont. Another exciting change will be the introduction of a new online portal (Active Net) which will allow you to sign up for classes, trips and meals online — quick and easily! We are certain you will like the new streamlined system as much as we do. If you’d like to get a jumpstart, you can create an account now at: www.fremont.gov/register (stay tuned for more details!) Finally, you’ll notice the Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth will have a new paint color, new floors and automatic doors for the restrooms. The picture above shows new siding that was installed. We hope you like the new changes and we can hardly wait to welcome you back!
