GETTING AROUND
The Ride-On Tri-City! Travel Training Program offers a variety of FREE services to help seniors and people with disabilities learn how to use AC Transit, Union City Transit, BART and other regional transit systems, including: • Group and individualized travel training instruction. • Workshops to learn how to use a Clipper Card and online trip planning resources. • Fun outings to Bay Area destinations using public transit. Ride-On Tri-City! offers a monthly 2-day Travel Training Workshop (3 hours each day) at the Fremont Senior Center. Through the workshop, participants learn how to: • Assess their travel skills and needs. • Plan trips using schedules, maps and online resources. •
Learn how to use a Clipper Card to pay fares.

Learn to board transit vehicles, make connections between buses and BART and other essentials for riding public transit safely.
All participants will receive a Clipper Card with $15 of cash value for taking the workshop. To register for an upcoming Travel Training Workshop or for more information on the Ride-On Tri-City! Fremont Senior Center is Closed in observance of Veterans Day Monday November 11. We will also be Closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday November 28 and Friday November 29 November Birthday Party November 15 1—2.30pm Wing A Entertainment will be provided by The Chinese Senior Club. Class Registration for Free Classes Tuesday December 3 Mark your calendars! Class registration for FREE classes for the months of January—June 2020 will begin on December 3. Active senior center members do have priority if a class becomes full. Even if you’ve been taking the class for years, everyone must register. See you December 3rd!
