Giving Hope This Season

Join in Giving toresidents Tri-Citywho residents who need support Join usus in Giving Hope Hope to Tri-City need support this holiday season this holiday season A low-income family of five who can just barely cover rent and food each month were provided holiday gifts for their children, including a Chromebook to help their eldest in school. A diabetic woman struggling with her health and medication management was living without a working refrigerator, so we provided one. A veteran was housed but had no furniture, and the community donated a bed and much more. A homebound elderly widower’s greatest source of companionship and emotional support is his beloved dog, so we provided gifts for both of them. These are a few of the stories of the 160 Tri-City families and seniors supported by our Giving Hope program last year. Giving Hope rallies our community – YOU – to provide holiday gifts and year-round support for things that government programs can’t provide. It represents the “heart” of the services provided to our clients. The Bay Area News Group — East Bay Times has recognized Giving Hope as a 2018 Share the Spirit East Bay honoree! In 2018, we hope to significantly expand this amazing program… but we can only do it with your support! You — or your organization or office — can sponsor our individual clients, families or seniors (and companion pets) for holiday gifts, or you may donate financially to the program.
