INFORMATION AND RESOURCE LINE Aging introduces us to new experiences; many of which are interesting, enjoyable and at times challenging. Occasionally, we face situations that are complex and confusing. In an effort to share knowledge and best practices, the City of Fremont has a dedicated information and resource phone line. When you call 510.574.2041 you can talk to an experienced care manager who will try to help you problem solve your situation by asking you questions and providing you with resources that will work best for you. All conversations are confidential. We have the capacity to converse in English, Farsi, Spanish and Mandarin. Our goal is to be a trusted source of information to help you stay informed, and to support you in your planning and decision making. You can also email us at afs@fremont.gov. Extensive Podiatry Services are Back
The FSC welcomes Podiatrist Alycia Chen as part of the Tri- City Health Center Team. Dr. Chen earned her B.S. in Exercise Biology from UC, Davis and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland. Services being offered by her will be feet evaluation, monofilament testing, toe nail clipping, treatment and referrals if needed. Dr. Chen enjoys working with all types of patients and is compassionate, caring and enthusiastic! Services are offered every 3rd Tuesday of the month 9.00am—12.00pm by appointment only.

Creative Writing Instructor wanted Do you enjoy creative writing? Do you enjoy teaching others how to write creatively? The Senior Center is looking for a volunteer to teach a weekly creative writing class. The class meets every Tuesday at the Senior Center from 10am—12pm. The class has requested an instructor that could assign writing topics, facilitate oral reading of work, willing to spend time to review students writing assignments, and organize in-class writing assignments. Published writer, and experience in publishing and editing preferred.
Volunteer Thank You! The Fremont Senior Center would like to thank Kay Cooley. She has a great energy and loves to teach Senior Fitness. Kay teaches on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Her students enjoy her welcoming attitude and guidance. She is a key asset to the community and helps keep seniors in shape and healthy. Thank you Kay!
FREMONT CARES Groundbreaking News! No one knows more about the value the senior center brings to adults 55+, better than those that frequent the center!
