SUMMER. 2019

It’s Our 20th Anniversary! In 1999, the Fremont Family Resource Center (FRC) opened its doors to help improve the quality of life for local residents. For the past 20 years, the FRC’s 24 partner agencies have offered a variety of services to Tri-City families including counseling, employment services, public benefits, housing support, health insurance enrollment, drop-in childcare and financial services to name a few. The Fremont FRC is unique in many ways and here are five key things to know about us: 1. The FRC is a one-stop shop where Tri-City residents can get their needs met without traveling all over Alameda County. (See agency list on pages 6-7.)

2. We’re one of the largest FRCs in the country! 3. Our Welcome Center has a team of bilingual Resource Specialists speaking nine different languages to help visitors. 4. Discovery Cove Childcare Center provides free drop-in childcare for FRC customers attending appointments and low-cost drop-in care for the community. 5. The FRC hosts special events such as voter education, citizenship and cultural events, onsite job recruiting, insurance enrollment, car seat inspections plus a host of workshops.
