FREMONT SENIOR CENTER
KEEPING ADULTS 55+ ACTIVE, VIBRANT AND SUPPORTED FOR 38 YEARS
THE FREMONT SENIOR CENTER LOCATED AT BEAUTIFUL LAKE ELIZABETH HAS BEEN SERVING ADULTS 55+ YEARS OF AGE SINCE SEPTEMBER 8, 1980. People line up at the door before 8am, ready to socialize with friends over complimentary coffee, tea and donated pastries. They often stay and start their morning with Tai Chi at 8.15am or Zumba Gold at 8.30am. There’s an array of classes and activities such as trips near and far, which tickle the fancy of the diverse population we serve. People who come to the Fremont Senior Center have said that the place feels like a second home and gives retired individuals something to do and somewhere to look forward to going. The center is open Monday — Friday 8am to 5pm and houses the Lake Side Café, where lunch is served at noon. The center also proudly partners with community agencies to provide free groceries, many health services and more. People walk, take the bus, carpool, drive or take Ride-On TriCity to the center located at 40086 Paseo Padre Parkway. Why not make stopping by the FSC one of your New Year’s resolutions today? This January stop by to make a new friend; have an affordable, delicious meal; take a class and learn about services!
