LAY-OFFS HIT H.S.A.S. MEMBERS In April/May of this year the following H.S.A.S. positions were affected by provincial government cutbacks: Hospital

- .5 Staff Pharmacist was issued lay-off notice. - vacant .5 Staff Physical Therapist position eliminated. - vacant .8 Senior Physical Therapist position eliminated. - 1 Full time Senior Dietitian position was abolished and the incumbent was issued a lay off notice. - 1 Full time Laboratory Technologist I position in Histology was eliminated and the incumbent was issued a lay-off notice. - 1 Temporary part time Laboratory Technologist I position in Blood Bank was eliminated and the incumbent was issued a lay-off notice . - 1 Temporary full time Laboratory Technologist I position in Bacteriology was reduced to half time which in effect is a lay-off.
