HOO-ova donacija bolnici „Sestre milosrdnice“

Športskim udrugama koje su se uključile u borbu protiv koronavirusa donacijom opreme za rad u medicinskim ustanovama, priključio se i HOO-ov ured za programe lokalnog športa na čelu s pomoćnikom glavnog tajnika HOO-a Sinišom Krajačem koji je u ime HOO-a donirao kontingent od oko tisuću majica Kliničkom bolničkom centru Sestre milosrdnice u Zagreb. Majice, koje su zbog situacije s pandemijom koronovisa preostale u programu Promicanje športa i olimpizma u cilju očuvanja zdravlja i zdravstvenog turizma u lokalnim sredinama s znakovljem kampanje #ostani doma, preuzeo je ravnatelj KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice Mario Zovak koji je pomoćniku glavnog tajnika izrazio zahvalnost za HOO-ovo razumijevanje žrtve koju su podnijeli liječnici i medicinsko osoblje KBC Sestre milosrdnice na prvoj crti obrane od koronavirusa. Sličnu gestu prema požrtvovnim djelatnicima ove bolnice tijekom ožujka i travnja u dva navrata realizirao je i Hrvatski judo savez.
HOO i ZŠEM u korist kategoriziranih športaša Hrvatski olimpijski odbor i Zagrebačka škola za ekonomiju i menadžment koju prestižna međunarodna akreditacija AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) svrstava među pet posto najistaknutijih poslovnih škola na svijetu, potpisali su u svibnju ugovor o poslovnoj suradnji. Ugovorom su definirani modaliteli izravne suradnje na visokoškolskom obrazovanju kategoriziranih športašica i športaša, razmjene znanja na stručnom i znanstvenom području te obostranu potporu mobilnosti studenata na područjima koja su od interesa za obje institucije. Studenti športaši na ZŠEM-u (među kojima su i reprezentativci koji su nastupili na višešportskim priredbama kao što su Univerzijade, Olimpijske igre te na svjetskim i europskim prvenstvima), imaju prilagođene uvjete sudjelovanja u nastavi bez obzira jesu li upisani na redovnom ili izvanrednom studiju. Široki raspon programa dual karijere prilagođen je športskim obvezama športaša i to jednako za domaće i strane studente bez obzira na specifičnosti sustava športa u zemljama iz kojih dolaze.

In parallel with sports, Možnik was equally successful in building a scientific career in which, after acquiring the title of PhD in Kinesiology, he was appointed Assistant at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb. After two extremely successful terms, during which Croatian gymnastics produced two world-famous names (Ana Đerek and Tin Srbić), the former HGS President Stevo Tkalčec did not run for a third term and he was succeeded by Marijo Možnik as the new President of the Croatian Gymnast Federation. Together for a Better Tomorrow The partner of the Croatian Olympic Committee and global holder of mobility in the Olympic Family, the company Toyota Croatia, launched a charity campaign “Together for a Better Tomorrow” in April this year, in which, in cooperation with the Croatian Red Cross, they delivered packages with ratio supplies to those who needed help during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Croatian Olympic Committee, the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Croatia, Her Excellency Misako Kaji, the Croatian Paralympic Committee, and especially top athletes - who were among the first to respond and send messages of encouragement - helped in the implementation of this project that thrilled many of our fellow citizens. SPTV’s ninth birthday in the role of online education The most watched sports channel in Croatia, wholly owned by the Croatian Olympic Committee, Sports Television, celebrated its ninth anniversary of broadcasting (April 4, 2011 at 5 pm) with a program for students who could not attend school due to the coronavirus pandemic. The classes were broadcasted for students from 5th to 8th grade of elementary schools and those from 1st to 4th grade of high schools. “It is understandable that we, as a socially responsible company, made available to the competent Ministry of Science and Education a part of our daily programming because the priority was to support preventive measures for protection of citizens,
