Worked in collaboration with Perkins Eastman NYC and Singapore offices on expansion of the Lai King Building of Princess Margaret Hospital in Hong Kong. The project aimed to provide additional capacity for the cluster’s rehabilitation services and address future decanting needs during the redevelopment of the PMH. The effort was organized towards a 30 year redevelopment plan of the hospital and involved reprogramming of the existing hospital building along with design and development of the extension. My work on this project was focused primarily on assisting with medical planning of various departments such as rehabilitation, radiology, geriatric day care, clinical lab, inpatient ward, etc. in conjunction with senior healthcare principals. We also engaged in extensive user group review meetings on regular basis, developed room data sheets and developed documentation on Revit for the entire project.
