Powell where it appeared Morning Approach became tight for room and Kratos (GB) received a bump. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Jessica Maye stated that she received a slight bump from Rock Dandy when three parts of a length down. Cillian McConnell stated that he was tight for room for the majority of the straight when upsides and received a bump from Rock Dandy before keeping on. J.A. Powell stated that he jumped out to make the running. In the straight, his mount hung badly left at which point he put his whip down and used his right hand to keep the horse straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that any interference which occurred was accidental and they therefore took no further action.
Cillian McConnell, rider of Kratos (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump approximately 150 yards from the finish.
R. Whearty, rider of Manhattan Dandy, trained by Thomas Coyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a keen hold in the early stages.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Thomas Coyle, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Manhattan Dandy, placed first, as compared with his most recent run. The trainer reported that he felt the 30 day break between runs may have accounted for the improved performance today. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the contents of the report.
J.A. Powell, rider of Rock Dandy, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the start involving Curzon Queen, ridden by O. McSweeney, Manhattan Dandy, ridden by R. Whearty and Pollanassa, ridden by C. McSweeney stated that his mount missed the break, he gave her a squeeze but the gap was gone as he received pressure from his outside. C. Stone-Walsh stated that he was slowly away, he kicked up into a gap but received pressure from his outside. R. Whearty stated that he jumped quickly from the gates, his mount locked-on and was very keen, he heard a shout and tried to keep straight but was unable to do so. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found R. Whearty was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and, having considered his record in this regard, they suspended him for one race day.
176D Dermot Hughes Car Sales H'cap S. Foley, rider of Dubawi Spectre (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.
R.P. Cleary, rider of Eastern Legend, trained by J.S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was tight for room inside the final furlong.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed D. McMonagle, rider of Picture Of A City (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Regulation which was due to him miscounting the number of times he used his whip. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3 (g) in that he used his whip with excessive frequency and, having taken his record into account, they cautioned him on this occasion.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn into the straight involving Picture Of A City (GB), ridden by D. McMonagle and Eastern Legend, ridden by R.P. Cleary where it appeared Picture Of A City (GB) ran short of room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. McMonagle stated that they had gone at a steady pace but going into the turn he felt Eastern Legend had run off the bend and a gap appeared. He kicked into the gap but had to take back as the gap closed. R.P. Cleary stated that he made the running. He thought his mount would run off the rail but felt there was insufficient room on his inner so aggressively dragged the horse around the bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that any interference which occurred was accidental and they therefore took no further action.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Mr King, ridden by G.F. Carroll and Eastern Legend, ridden by R.P. Cleary where it appeared Mr King became tight for room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.P. Cleary stated that he made the running, travelled into the straight and Mr King had more gears than his horse but inside the 150 yard post he rolled in and switched his horse out. G.F. Carroll stated that they went slow early on and it turned into a sprint finish, Mr. Cleary gave a shout at which point he switched his whip into his right hand. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that any interference which occurred was accidental and they took no further action
176F Irish Stallion Farms EBF Lenebane Stakes D. McMonagle, rider of Vega Magnifico, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met with interference at the road crossing. L.T. McAteer, rider of Young Ireland, trained by J.S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the first bend.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the final 50 yards involvingAsh Tree Meadow (FR), ridden by B.M. Coen, placed third, Banned (GB), ridden by D. McMonagle, placed second and Glan, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed first, where it appeared Ash Tree Meadow ran short of room between horses in the closing stages. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M. Coen stated that he was slowly away. His horse was having its first flat run and was caught for pace. He was going nowhere until Glan flashed down his outer and his mount was a little tight on the line. D. McMonagle stated that his mount had run around and had a good look but felt his mount stayed straight on the inner. D.P. McDonogh stated that his mount got going late, stayed on well and shifted a little at which point he pulled his left rein after the line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while Glan had caused interference to Ash Tree Meadow (FR), he did not improve his finishing position as a result of this interference so they made no alteration to the Judge's placings. They were, however, of the opinion that D.P. McDonogh was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and, having considered his record in this regard, they suspended him for one race day.

G.M. Ryan stated that his mount was quirky by nature and reacted when Son Of Corballis shifted left by over-exaggerating when shying away but this had no bearing on her finishing position. Evidence was heard from the Starter and rider concerned. Mr P.L. Malone confirmed his report which was not contested by Adrian O'Shea. He added that the error was rectified. Through human error, the rider admitted that he went into the wrong stall without the assistance of any stalls handler. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Adrian O'Shea was in breach of Rule 208 (iv) by failing to ensure that his mount entered the correct allocated starting stall. Geerdharry stated that he received a small bump after the road crossing. N.M. Crosse stated that his mount became unbalanced at the road crossing and shifted slightly left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while Fleetfootsoldier had caused interference to Hope And Innocence he did not improve his finishing position as a result of this interference so they made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

Evidence was heard from Sarah Devoy, representing Luke Comer, trainer. She stated that Sweet Maisie had front shoes fitted but had proven to be very difficult to fit with hind shoes. She admitted that she was unaware of the requirement under Regulation 16. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Luke Comer had failed to comply with the provisions of Regulation
